1. The staff were very accommodating and lovely. My card had a problem when booking because of the bank down time and they still allowed me to finalize the booking after a lot of back and forth. 2. The place has a lovely gym - the facilities are generally lovely. 3. The FREE shuttle to Sandton City and other nearby attractions has got to be an added plus! Taxi fare is expensive and if you plan to catch the shuttle, you can even catch the train from OR Tambo to the mall, and get picked up.
all reviews » The 2 bedroom apartment was exactly what we expected it to be like and more. The view was great, the rooms where perfect. Very trendy and makes you feel like you are living th good life. The room were exclusive.beautiful facilities such the swimming pool n gym.The food at the restuarants was perfect. The size of the apartment and comfort, quality of restaurant/food, gym size and equipment, pool shape... We were upgraded to a suit for our first stay which was very nice and for the rate paid very good value. Everything was awesome,its a five minute drive to the hottest nightclubs and shopping centres. 1. Comfort of bed and design of the rooms including bathrooms 2. Very good location in Sandton. I liked the spacious rooms, the amenities, the dstv channels, the friendly staff.The staff were extremely friendly and the environment is extremely tranquil. Easy Check in. Location Modern design New facilities. The facilities are good. Rooms are spacious. The bed was very comfortable. 1. The studio appts have a terrible view ( of the corridor) and the windows are see through so you can't open them for some light during the day! 2. The check-in time of 2 p.m and very strict check out of 10 a.m ( they even call you to remind you to leave) which is an all time first for me! Can't really complain though. Nothing. Having to fill out a full inventory of everything in the rooms, very tedious. Second time we stay we had a 'normal' room which whilst clean and modern had no exterior window so felt a bit like a cell. I loved everything. 1. The ground floor is very noisy because of all the dust beans being taken outside using the guest corridor 2. Staff talking loudly on the corridors yet people still resting 3. floor without carpet makes the corridor so noisy and the rooms cold. I didn't like the food at the Veranda Restaurant.During our stay we did not receive bath mats despite filling out an itinerary check list stating what amenities our apartment lacked. Nothing to complain about. I made booking online with www.letsbookhotel.com but on our arrival, the booking was not found, we made a new booking at higher rate. Please rectify this. There is no halal food. Is not halal friendly. Should have been offered the option of an upgrade at the time of bookin or notified by the website to ask for the cost of the option at book in. As it was only the info in the room once we checked in let us know of that option. Charged me incorrect rate, but was refunded. Only courtesy Wifi for 150 mb, then you have to pay.. Wifi should be free! Breakfast not included on price :(. everything was OK. False Fire Alarms. Noisy - room near to the kitchen. The women in the morning shift was not very nice she cause me of maybe took the international adapter when I was checking out, and she found out that it was in the room. Unwelcoming bland decor Lack of coziness. The staff were not friendly and could not properly accommodate us and we had to leave earlier than we wished and were charged for a night we spent at their sister hotel; terrible I thought. customer service and house keeping very poor. Quite noisy Not really five star quality. a bit cold, did not like the tiles, was not sound proof as windows opened onto the passage. I found after my third day at the hotel that my bed sheets had not been changed since arrival. My dustbin had not been cleaned out and dirty spoons from the previous night were still in my room. Upon complaint, I were merely told that a complaint would be logged. The fact the rooms are not isolated and you can practically hear everything in the next room, very uncomfortable.
