  After a 23 hour trip nothing better. Very quiet, so comfortable. Staff very good. Breakfast was magnificent. One of the best displays I have seen obviously a chef with flair. Staff walked us to the shuttle bus after our stay. A great way to start a holiday with a rest before touring S.A. I was there on a business trip and I had to leave my room after 1600, well the staff made its best to accomodated my request without requestt. I definetively will be staying at the same hotel during my next trip to Kempton Park.

  We were on our way to our honeymoon destination and stayed over at the hotel which was a wedding gift from my brother and sister-in-law. Got to the room and there were dried rose peddals everywhere - on the bed, on the floor, even in the bathroom with a bottle of champaign. It was so romantic.   The Mondior is in a super location within easy reach of Johannesburg International Airport. A courtesy bus runs to the airport every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day. All in all, it was a wonderfully comfortable way - I stayed at Mondior for 1 night before my flight on the next day with my husband and 5 month old daughter. The hotel is right next to the airport and there is a shuttle every 20 min. to the terminal which is very convenient. As the room we booked was very small to fit a baby cot they upgraded us with bigger one which was very very nice of them. I was very impressed by the baby cot they gave us.   Heather, the hostess, was helpful, friendly and informative. She described their rebuilding of the entertainment area after an electical fire two months ago and it will undoubtedly be an added attraction when completed in about 2 mos time. They are redoing the pool at the same time. The recently remodeled room and bath we were in showed good taste... what people say » and finish. The grounds not under construction were nice. Food was plentiful and delicious. I would definitely stay there again. - The staff and the owners were so lovely to deal with. Like other reviewers have said - it really was like staying with friends. Free internet, free airport pick up and drop off, free shuttle to areas locally (shopping center etc) We ate at the Guest House and like other reviewers - we thought the food was exceptional! We needed to be close to the airport so the location was perfect. The owners couldn't be more gracious and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay
