I was impressed with Tosca's attentiveness - she asked where I would like to go and brought out a map to help me. I felt very well looked after. Then in the morning I had breakfast and the manager (forgot his name) was talkative and friendly and I enjoyed the breakfast. the people at Ridge view lodge were so welcoming and friendly. the view was just to awesome and also how peaceful the place was. i enjoyed my stay and would recommend others to book in there as well. thumbs up.

From Durban: - Follow the N3 west in the direction of Pietermaritzburg. - Keep left and take the second turn-off (exit 3). - Go past the Shell station and turn left onto South Ridge Road at the traffic lights. - Continue straight ahead at the next set of traffic lights and drive up the hill. - Turn left onto Loudoun Road. From Pietermaritzburg: - Take the N3 towards Durban city centre. - Follow the signs to Berea (exit 3/Tollgate) and get into the left-hand lane. - Keep to the right until you reach the traffic lights. - Turn right and cross the tollgate bridge and up the hill (South Ridge Road). - Continue straight ahead at the next set of traffic lights continue up the hill. - Turn left onto Loudoun Road. From King Shaka International Airport: - Take the N2 towards Durban - When approaching the N3 junction, keep to the left-hand lane. - Take exit 165 (N3 towards Durban). - Head for the city and stay in the left-hand lane. - Take exit 3 to Ridge/Berea. - Follow the directions from line 3 of the Pietermaritzburg directions above.
