The hotel and staff extremely welcoming and friendly. The room exceeded my expectation and would happily recommend it to anyone going to Cape Town. Not only did I organise my own accommodation but booked for 12 other people as well and they all were extremely happy with the facilities staff location and enjoyed their time there. The hotel even were able to bring forward their booking by one day which made them all extremely grateful and happy- they had just spent basically 45 days sailing and .

It was like staying in a Hotel with the bonus of Table Mountain views from the bedroom and balcony. I chose The Rockwell All Suite Hotel because of its location - and it didn't disappoint. The staff were very accommodating with local info, and the accommodation delivered much more than I expected. Extremely happy. the location is great and they have the best staff you can imagine. From reception and security to the bar and restaurant they all are doing there very best to give the guests a fantastic stay. Great Location. Parking Available Very good restaurants in the building. Shopping mall and Petrol Station across the street. Walking distance to CTICC and Waterfront. Highly secured apartments! Quiet and tranquil...even though it is situated by the main road you could not hear any outside activities while in the apartment. The service was impaccable, the staff is very welcoming and helpful. The ambiance excellent. i would recommend it to anyone. the safety if unbelievable. We loved the friendly helpful staff - the manager Colin is wonderful! The location is second to none and the apartment open, bright and roomy. It was a nice stay in the spacious Three Bedrooms apartment in this hotel. It is not far away from the Waterfront. The breakfast was good. the location is superb, the apartment is large, open, bright, light and everthing you would need! We could have stayed forever!. The beds were super comfortable. The design of the apartments was nice and the view of Table Mountain was great. Apartment was very spacious, ideal for families with teenagers. Nicely located and clean. Some of the rooms were not as clean as can be expected. none. There were a few things missing from the kitchen but as we were eating out most of the time this didnt matter too much!. Some of the Staff. the floor needed a thorough clean!. The noise coming from the outside courtyard wasn't good. There appeared to be a private function and the music was very loud. There was no hairdryer in the apartment. Only one of the bathrooms had a shower, would be nice to have two showers. Reception staff could be more helpful and informative. Parking allocations seemed minimal. Little expensive. The Balcony doors are not air tight and so cold winds end up inside. Little complicated air conditioning system. The showers are a desaster. I do not understand how they still have the same problem. TVs are small dstv Channels are few Washing machine was not working. parking rates for vehicle were not specified per day as well as desk at hotel did not explain parking rules correctly. Swiming pool, Water to cold to try it. None. Minor problem the water on the floor of the bathroom after shower. Main bathroom had no shower. Basin was small. Other than that- perfect. The kitchen equipment is a bit old -all the knives in our room 509 was broken Would love a coffee plunger to be able to make real coffee Missed bedside lamps for reading. Missed a plug for the hair dryer. staff are always under trained and cant handle situations beyond check in and check out doorto my veranda did not lock and maintenance works only 8-6pm - so i had to sleep with an open door ! i was told not to worry - not acceptable. carpets were worn and the sliding doors leading onto the balconies couldn't close properly. Check in staff were rude and badly trained - I had the check in last shout across the room my credit card has been declined miss!!! When her machine had timed out . Towels old. Limited kitchen equipment. One of the two apartments were not clean(floors). Staff were rude and unprofessional. Housekeeping always forget to empty trash in rooms. Lifts were not always working. No porter to help with bags......... 1. Overpriced for what it was/is. 2. Sound of rushing waste water overhead throughout the night. 3. Wake up call came late. 4. Box breakfasts never appeared. 5. Margin around tub/wall in b'room very dirty. no balcony furniture, waiting long for apartment to be cleaned, service has dropped, not value for money. wont stay there again. 1. The room and the linen all smelt strongly of smoke despite it being a non-smoking room. 2 TV didnt work and despite being called it was never attended to by the staff. 3. We asked for a double bed and were given two singles. This was only rectified after we alerted the staff to the problem. 4. We were billed for a breakfast that was not ours. This was rectified. Overall I would not recommend it and would not return.
