I would like to extend my thank you to Jeremy and his staff, who went out of their way to make our stay as memorable as possible (after our not so satisfactory stay two weeks before this second booking - was booked into a very small room).The attention to the detail was notceable and will be remebered.Regards Adrie. The staff were competent and were able to provide decent directions and information. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel is situated in a good location for even a first time tourist to find their way around. The hotel is situated close to various amenities and is therefore very convenient. Zaid Motala.

We had not been well on the day of our arrival, but ventured downstairs at about 9pm. The lady who tends the bar ran around and made us toasted sandwiches. Above the call of duty Our malfunctioning Tv was promptly sorted out GOOD SERVICE. The hotel is beautiful, our room was comfortable and clean. We loved the two separate rooms, one for toilet and sink and the second with shower and sink. The lobby was very nice as were all of the staff. Good reception,excellent dining(buffet) facility and service,hotel best placed at Sea point,good security,adequate parking facility,qietness. I love the location in Sea Point. Can walk to beach, shops and restaurants. Rooms have balconies and partial sea views. I loved the rooms and set ups of the hotel. The customer service. The hotel management changed our room to a more spacious room after 2 nights. comfortable once you checked in, good place to stay. Size of Room was ok. The lighting in the corridors were a bit harsh to the eyes. There needs to be better signage in the hotel pointing out the different facilities at the hotel. I felt that the price per night was a little exorbitant for the hotel itself, but the overall stay and convenience of the hotel's location made it a little more bearable. Nothing. Toilet paper was not refilled until requested. The carpet in the room is rundown,near impossible to clean hence room floors presenting negatively. Rooms are being renovated and mine was only half finished. It was missing furniture and the mirror in the bathroom was not fixed and kept falling over. Hairdryer in bedroom but no mirrors. No desk or place to put luggage. Think rooms will be nice when they are finished but for now, beware. Drilling started before 9:00 on Sunday morning. The rate did not include breakfast, and the bar shut early and even earlier than stated time. Hotels should keep the bar open until guests finish. I am talking about the bar closing at 1045pm and they did not even warn us it was going to be closed. I made a change to check in a day earlier, and did this 4 days in advance. When I arrived at the hotel, they had no idea about the change, and of course the hotel was now fully booked, took an hour to find me a room. letsbookhotel.com did not seem to convey the change to the hotel. Breakfast - no hot porridge, no smoked salmon or crackers. Same price as President but much smaller selection. Delayed Check in due to room not being ready Power issues during stay Broken window on first day (although this fixed quickly). The staff are not that welcoming and not friendly enough for my liking. The room service I was given was poor as I was sent from line to line. Early housekeeping service. The room was extremely small and very dissapointing 521. The toilet cover fall off, caretaker just put the parts aside without fixing it. And toiletry stuff not replaced on time. I did not like the mountain facing room which was very cramped for two adults and a toddler. too slow for check in, too much delay as requested. Information is not well shared in the system with all the staff. our original room we were offered was far too small with a glass shower inches from our bed. Some of the staff could have been more friendlier and certainly more accommodating. There was no bathroom door in our room, the breakfast was overpriced and rubbish The staff had no clue or brains I would not recommend this place to anyone except those leaving Guantanamo as a midway to normality.

The Protea Hotel Sea Point is a perfectly situated to explore the city’s many attractions. The Cape Town Stadium is only a short drive away, on the outskrits of the V&A Waterfront with its numerous boutiques, restaurants, cinemas and shops. Here you are able to board a ferry to Robben Island. Cape Town's Two Oceans Aquarium is also situated here. The famous Table Mountain Cableway and beaches of Camps Bay and Clifton are a few minutes away. Take a tour around Cape Town city on the popular sight seeing bus, you can hop on and off at any stop along the route. Cultural attractions such as the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Parliament Buildings, the South African National Art Gallery and Planetarium can be found nearby. Century City is situated on the outskirts of Cape Town with the Ratanga Junction Theme Park and Intaka Island, a wetland and bird sanctuary. of Cape Town.
- Turn right onto Hans Strijdom Road at the 2nd set of traffic lights, right
after the CTICC.
- At the roundabout, turn left and immediately right.
- Follow Main Road/Sea Point and turn right onto Arthur’s Road.

- Coming from the V&A Waterfront, follow the Beach Road.
- Turn right onto Western Boulevard at the traffic lights.
