Location was great for what we needed. Short walk into town. Hotel has ample free car parking. Very helpful reception staff able to converse in several languages including English +++++. Breakfast was lovely and fresh. Great standard of accommodation and ambience. Look forward to our next visit. Service was friendly and efficient; reception and housekeeping staff were courteous. The hotel has been recently refurbished and features some attractive design features, with well-appointed rooms, lobby and a good cocktail bar.
all reviews » The hotel is classic good hotel. Nothing to be complained about. The breakfast is good, although last day they've served uncooked buns. The location is also good in a walking distance from the historical center. Great room, good views. Staff at reception most helpful and restaurant staff happy and helpful. First visit to this City, which I had not heard of before, and so much to see. I shall go again. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was always really clean and the choice of colors of the walls provides a very comforting and relaxing feeling. It is really near the city centre and easy to acces with a car. parking available in front of the hotel and in garage. Small touches let the Yasmin down. For example: the mini-bar fridge was unplugged on arrival (and consequently, drinks were warm). Insufficient and inconveniently placed power outlets in the room. And although the bathroom was well-appointed, there were inexplicably no tissues. Small improvements would go a long way to improving the guest experience at Yasmin. The restourant dissappointed. The food was over-priced and either normal, or untasty. The only thing to point out was the fact that sometimes there was an unpleasant smell probably coming from the sink in the bathroom. Apart from that, we were very satisfied with Hotel Yasmin. We had a problem entering the garage and finally left the car outside. Reception staff couldn't cope with garage entrance. nothing. For the spa u have to pay extra 10eur. Nothing to dislike. The service in restaurant was horrible. We were left at the table for almost twenty minutes without any attention of waiters! We left the restaurant very upset and hungry - staff just ignored us!! If the place was busy I would understand but there was only 4 tables for 3 waiters!! We even complained at the reception and left our room number but nothing happened really... To be honest this ruined our evening and certainly left the bitter feeling from the whole stay... Access road to the Hotel very missable,not signposted. The metal sink plug in the bathroom was stuck. However, this was not a major problem. Could not set up room temperature, it was too hot. Too far from center of Town. Price/quality relation of lunch and dinner in the restaurant were not according the (expected) level of the hotel. elevators work very slowly. missed body lotion, milk for the coffee. no coat hook in the room. - breakfest are not included in price, - smell from air condition from kitchen (11th floor!) - wellness was closed - small window to open - for this price you can find better accommodation in Kosice. The stuff in the reception was not well informed about city attractions and not very willing in helping. Staff not very welcoming. The hotel staff is not very service oriented. The stuff is horible they have no respect for the clients just want mony.
