The best hotel in Madinah in terms of closest walking distance to Masjid Nabawi. Great room and facilities. Breakfast is great. Lots of varieties of foods. And all hotel staffs especially restaurants staffs are very nice and friendly, especially Mr. Wael. Great parking also. Parking is under the hotel and it's free!. I had to used the public toilet belongs to the hotel after checked-out from the hotel but entry into the toilet is only by room entry card. I explained to one of the hotel staf.
all reviews » My family always want to stay in Anwar al Madinah Movenpick and have done so, seven times out of the past eight visits. The one occasion where we did not stay was due to having to stay near a friend who we were helping out. This is just a wonderful and friendly hotel and makes us feel right at home in Madinah, so much so, that my children do not want to stay anywhere else when we travel to Madinah. Our arrival was received by a staff and greeted by our first name at the hotel entrance. Welcoming drinks were served to our family. Fast check in and check out. Location was excellent, next to the Haram. Supermarket available at the lower level. Vast selection of food for breakfast at two different restaurants. Food was good. Wifi speed in room is good but access was limited to two devices only. once u park ur car and reach ur room then all the things become wonderful.only few steps from haram,women gate is near compartive to other hotels ,room service is good,fast check-in and check out ,comfortable quit and calm rooms,have parking in the basment,breakfast is just fair not good. Friendly staff at the reception and concierge and accurate time of lemo to airport I would like to appreciate the great help and support of Mr Osama the duty manager on 23/02/2013 and for his kindness thanks for all. Very very easy access to Masjid-e-Nabawi, if you like to have dinner or lunch outside the hotel very close to the hotel behind Dar Al Taqwa you can find the pakistani restauratns, very nice food with very good price. Location a few steps and u r in the haram .. Rich breakfast .. There is Mall with supermarket (bin dawood) the most famous market in the hotel. Buffet breakfaft and lobby area specially the quick service in the lobby, I.e, shawarma, pizza. I've asked for room with double bed but I was given a room with triple single beds. The hotel is close to Prophet Masjid. Breakfast is good, suggest allot go for it. Housekeeping did not replace the coffees regularly. Windows were dirty and view obscured. No comment. Smell of bathroom sometimes is very bad. Nothing. Room service, the soup served was stale and salty. I ordered mezzeh, kabbabs / samosa was not fresh. the entry not so luxe and everything is old the bed are not so good prestation. I have pain in my back. no coffee , no tea and we take the luxury bedroom !. No variety on breakfast buffet adding too much pastry. The bathroom had a foul smell throughout 6 days of stay. In spite of complaints and frequent cleaning by staff, the smell persisted and caused breathing problems. The reception staff do not answer the phones at all and there was no list of important phone numbers. The confusion about getting from one tower to the other. Nothing. the TV channels was very good with wide variety and the breakfast was very good. Check out time is too early. Long waiting time at the reception while check in. Not friendly. Crouded lifts. n/a. Price was expensive in the last days of ramadan. Restruant and food quality. Nothing. Elevators are not all functioning so I waiting long time during prayer!!. I was requesting late check out, but the pass card expires automatically at 12:00 pm and let me and my family out of the room. I had to go to the reception to get this fixed. Morning breakfast was spilt in groups and families (solo travellers).....we were not in a group. So they should put us in a different restaurant for breakfast.....had to wait for long time to get the food. could improve on qulaity of cleanliness. directions. Old furniture in the room,Difficult to get in from haram side,particularly after prayers.
