The location is great. Having use of the kitchen was perfect....especially since I stayed 1 week. There is now a sign near the entrance door on the street so it is easier to find than some of the earlier reviews mentioned. Even so, I had no trouble. It is maybe 400 m from the metro station. I had room 6....the least expensive room. Even though it is next to the shared bathroom, I rarely heard any noise. On the upper floor, 3 rooms share the bathroom. The other 2 have their own. all reviews » Weekend Inn offers fantastic accommodation . We stayed four nights in probably the largest room I've ever stayed in . The whole place was spotlessly clean .We also had a distant view of Saint Basils . The staff are on hand but very discreet . We got a room which wasn't en suite but the bathroom was so close that it was never an issue . I never had to wait for it to be vacant in the whole four days. The Inn is very easy to find from Novokutznetskya Metro station . I'd guess less than five minut. The staff and location are great. There are many good restaurants within 30 meters radius from the Weekend Inn apartments. The Red Square is also in walking distance (about 15min), otherwise there is a metro station a 100 meters away. We'd also highlight Helen who was brilliant and made us feel at home since our arrival. She really made a difference to us and we'd like to remark our appreciation for her efforts :-) Highly recommended!. Staff was friendly and helping. The apartments have been renovated, and they have a very good "brand new" feeling. Shared bathroom is perfectly clean and well equiped. The flats are located in the Zamoskvorietchie district. Surprisingly, the district is very nice, with a charming quiet atmosphere that's quite uncommon in Moscow. With a lovely gentle price, it was one of my best place to stay there. In short I liked everything about this hotel. Very friendly staff. Lovely rooms. Great view. Perfect location nearby the very city center. 50 m from the metro. And in a lovely neighborhood with loads of cafes, restaurants, and shops + museums and ancient churches. For Moscow the room rates are indeed very reasonable. There is a clean and well-equipped kitchen at disposal as well. Free wifi. Staff and design. Everything's clean, renewed and comfortable. There are lot of cafes and restaurants around - japanese, mex, european, fastfood etc. Subway station is just a two hundred meters down the street. The street itself is one-way, no heavy or truck traffic. The hotel is quite close to the city center. Absolutely excellent staff - could not have been more friendly, especially with our 14-month-old son. Good location, convenient for two (linked) metro stations, various restaurants and shops. Walking distance (20 mins) to Red Square and the Kremlin. An amazing apartment in a very good location. The elevator is small indeed, but quite reliable. Maybe sound isolation is not so great. Some other reviewers have complained about the stairway and the entrance hall. Well, one should not read too much into the lack of maintenance of these areas. This is simply how the stairways look in apartment blocks in Russia. Gives you know indication about the standard of what is inside. No sign at the entrance, hard to understand this is the place. It is located at 5th floor of very old bulding, and the entrance is not in possesion of the hotel. The entrance is very old and poor. Entrance hallway a bit unprepossessing, world's smallest lift. Would have been nice to have a long soak in the bath but couldnt with it being shared. Mis read information about en suite but shared bathroom was excellent. Difficult to find entrance to Weekend Inn from street, dependent on address. No signage on street/door level. Room nine had a very high window so felt a bit oppressive but a lovely clean room. The entrance and elevator were horrible. People smoked just in front of the main door. Bathroom defiantly needs a new curtain. Watch for your valuable items, we forget an accessory in the kitchen and in 30 minutes it was gone. Difficult to find, even for the taxi driver. Dont let the entrance or stairway disappoint you, once on the 5th floor you see nothing. It is a shared "russianstyle" stairway. The lift was small and scarey!!. No bathroom in the room, not even a sink. Separated common bathroom, toilet and kitchen. Sharing bathroom. В номере нет ванны с туалетом. Massive clothing rooms which could be easy turned in to toilets. None. Staff had limited English, but managed to take care of our every need for assistance. Not easy to spot. We bought a triple room (3 adulds). The main bed was fine, but the one for our child too basic (a camp bed) and not confortable at all. I suggest to verify with the property the kind of accomodation when travel with more then two people. The Lift is creepy Watch out the drinker along the street. No curtains, last 24 hours no towels, kitchen not so well equiped. No info abouth the city available such as a metropolitan map...With a little extra effort this stay could be really really good, but the people that work here don't seem to recognise the needs of people who stay there. shared bathroom, no external signs to locate the building, no credit card accepted. Toilet and bathroom at the floor for common use, you have to be very quick.
