Can't beat the location by the wonderfully updated Gorky Part and the New Tretyakov Gallery. The room and the bathroom were of a decent size recently updated. Metro is around the corner; easy to get to from Vnukovo and Domodedovo. Great dining options are just around the corner; plenty of nice restaurants in the Gorky Park as well. I would recommend this place for a short stay (1-2 nights) for business or pleasure if you intend to hit the Tretyakov Gallery and other sites in Zamoskvorechie.
all reviews » The hotel is like any other decent 3-4 star hotel. Clean room, nice bed and a good location. The hotel is also near Gorky Park which is a great place to go to on weekend nights and relax from the Moscow rush and see how Russians truly are when they are relaxed. The location is excellent - just few meters from the metro station, in central part of Moscow. Breakfast was good for Moscow (very frequently in Moscow hotels breakfasts are poor), even coffee was a real coffee. The room was quiet and comfortable. Perfect location, not bad breakfast with a nice view, good beds, comfortable and big rooms with a mirror (!) near the bed - in general cozy and cheap (we used a 50% discount proposal). Breakfast is absolute bizarre. Don't even bother with it. The grumpy dining room attendant would not let me take a cup of coffee to my room as "taking tableware to the hotel rooms is not allowed." I thought this kind of attitude was gone long ago, but not quite at this hotel. The breakfast is tolerable but their chessecake slices are the only thing that tastes amazing. Hotel prices in Moscow are generally overpriced, and the Warsaw hotel is not a big exception. The hotel rules are partially of Sovietic style, but this is also rather common for Moscow... Staff is trying to be nice, but habbits are staying the same like in ex-USSR: no smiles, the reservation from letsbookhotel.com have to be printed out to be accepted! Can be a little bit noisy at nigth from the Sadovoye Circle. The hot food at breakfast was usually cold but otherwise breakfast was very good. in room safe broken, breakfast was poor. rather big and un-personal. Breakfast. TV did not work, pay for internet. everything was OK. There is not free water for drink. Breakfast a little poor, compared to room rate. Room rate 230 Euro, Wifi you have to pay extra 200 Rubel. If you need Wifi for second device like phone or laptop, you pay again 200 Rubel for 24 hours. breakfast is poor they heat too much, one needs to open the window and then it is too noisy too expensive for what it offers. Old smoke filled property. Nightmare for one with allergies. Poor breakfast. Price is very high. Lobby is not good. small single room. not enough power outlets in the room bar fridge in the room was a bit noisy no free wifi. They charge 200RUR for the Internet per day. You can get local 3G/LTE prepaid SIM card for the same price in shops right next to subway station. Staff is really slow. It took them 30min to merge my 2 bookings into 1. Breakfast was very poor. Outside temperature is +30C and air conditioner does NOT work! To survive in the room you must open all windows and door for air to go through :).
