it is close to everything and you can do everything you need to do in a very short period of time without needing cars or taxis. you can print free no matter how many documents you need to print or copy (there's a specially reserved computer with printer just in case you need) friendly staff, good room, comfortable and quiet. I was upgraded to 4 star room for the second time I stayed at Minerva. I have stayed here a few times and the location of the hotel is brilliant and the rooms are lovely too. I also had to check out early due to work commitments and the staff were very helpful with this.
all reviews » I ask one jacussy and was ok only the some thing was broken litel bit in the jacussi ... break fask are ok not well like a 5 stars but is ok . free parking and internet the spa & fitness are also ok just need litel more machine ... nice sushi restaurant near ... The staff were fantastic and did everything possible to make my stay very enjoyable and comfortable. One of the bar staff gave me great insights into Romanian life and its history, in excellent English. Breakfast wonderful. Location was superb. I have stayed in this hotel several times when on business, very comfortable rooms that are very clean and well equipped, fast internet connection, excellent breakfast, great location. Overall good choice. Staff is very attentive and polite. Location is also excellent. And the price is very good for Central Bucharest. Besides, the free, 24 hours guarded car park is a great advantage if you travel by car. Very clean hotel. Good location between business district and old city. And probably the best breakfast anywhere in Bucharest..:) And the Chinese restaurant at the premises is very handy and tasty. friendly helpful staff,i was given a different room from what i had booked they changed it immediately and sent a bowl of fruit next day to room,sauna was good. The internet in the night was not well in my room grrrr up & down all the minute !! room 626. Only problem this time is with the jacuzzi, I asked what time it closed and the person at the front desk (a young woman) said 9PM. When I went down to the jacuzzi I was told it was broken, and had been for several days. Clearly the staff does not communicate with each other. Aircon was not working properly. If you open the window, the traffic noise from the main boulevard is keeping you awake all night. Bathroom also needs some care as it is quite old. The noise... When there is a wedding party you better join the party as even on the 5th floor it get's noisy... ( and it happened already twice to me ) But then if you want a quality hotel at a good price you can not have it all. So good Hotel. the jacuzzi didnt work. I didn`t mind but it`s not the real center. And did hear of some accident due to construction problems? But great value and good hotel . A shame that the Jacuzzi had no water in it and the Spa area wasn't really in use. N/a. Some of the refreshment prices were high and for me the bed was too firm. N/a. The room service food was stone cold - really dissapointing. weak internet, charmless and dated rooms. Wi-Fi disappeared sometimes, too warm in the room during the night. Bathroom easy to flood No sink plugs. The room was a bit shabby. In my room the floor are making sounds which can disturb my room-mate. The room was not 4stars room , as the hotel is rated. the lights are always turned off in the hallyway, it was so dark. Cigaret smell in room. The bathroom. Air condition did not work, Chinese Restaurant is not worth a try... The shower was difficult to regulate sometimes the water came out too hot sometimes too cold without touching anything. The location is not bad but you need to walk around 10mins to arrive to the metro, but once there, it's just 2 stations away from the centre. They couldn't find our book at first and then put us in a room that wasn't clean. We had originally booked one of their 3* rooms, but upgraded to a 4* room. The 4* room was at best a good 3*. The staff wasn't very helpful or friendly. The difficulty in finding my reservation and the first two rooms being uncleaned. the hotel is very basic. sa is very small and what i'd expected. Very noisy air conditioning unit. Two single beds instead of a king size bed. Bathroom condition pur, carpet not clean. room amenities: clock, coffee maker, refrigerator never exixted. very old furnishing, bath, everything. the 3-star room looks a bit old. the 3-star room is not so comfortable to stay with the old decoration and the smells. Anyhow, the price is cheaper, so I have nothing to complain. Outsidelooking was good but hotel inside was looks like 2 star. Also minibar was empity and when I check out they asked me if I used something from minibar :). The Hotel improved as 4* but, facilities and accommodation actually like 2*. It was horror!!! Old furniture ,Old bathroom, old paint, all this From the communism Period.
