The staff were very welcoming and went out of their way to assist. The facilities are modern and uniquely decorated, the food was of high quality and the breakfast buffet generous with made to order hot requests. Bathroom fittings modern and roomy with walk in shower. The hotel has a lift which made luggage handling easy. The windows could be opened for fresh air and the airconditioning was very effective? The hotel is located outside the Main Square of the Stare Miasto but within easy walking .
all reviews » This is hotel is great . I would for sure come back . The rooms are stylish and the bed very comfortable. The location is good, just few minutes walk to the old town. The staff is wonderful , always smiling and very helpfull. when arriving we recevied a wlcome drink and also we got lovely caramels on Our pillow several Nights. I loved the cookies we received when checking out. No doubt - one of the best hotels when it comes to service ever, and i have been to many hotels=). The hotel is set in a renovated house, only 5 minutes (on foot) from the main square of Poznan. The decoration is superb, rooms are big and spacious, good amenities (L'Occitane), and awesome staff (really friendly and with good tips). Our room had a big terrace, breakfast was good (you could even order some warm dishes) and upon departure we got some free cookies. In addition, when you arrive, you get a welcome drink, which is a nice touch from the hotel. The staff went out of their way to be helpful in this small, neat hotel with 'funky' decor. It's no more than a 5 minute walk to the main square offering a good choice of restaurants and a little over 10 minutes to cross the river to the cathedral. A high standard of decor and furnishings provide a relaxing and enjoyable environment and the kitchen prepares excellent high quality and interesting dishes for dinner,. Everything is a plus! From the outside you might get some initial doubts, but that actually helps underlining the good surprises to come. The front of the hotel is to be addressed once a city permit is obtained. The double bed whilst very comfortable and large could only be accessed from one side. nothing to not like, its a lovely hotel. The hotel seems to be located in an area which must have not been the "best" of Poznan, as there are big plots of land empty or used as parking. However, the rest of the city is really beautiful, and walking you can get anywhere. The pink plastic flamingo in an otherwise pleasant courtyard garden. Nothing!. There were no hot drink facilities in the room & only 1 english speaking TV channel out of the 40 channels available. No bathtub. I wold have preferred if breakfast was included in the price. Did not try the breakfast so cannot comment upon the dining room. The only issue is that the walls are quite thin and I could hear the people next door. The room was a bit small in relation to the price. There are other hotels with similar rooms that are cheaper, however still worth it and would definitely stay again. No adverse comments. Everything was perfect. Nothing. Bar and restaurant are the same room - meant that enjoying drinks was also in the presence of people eating. Breakfast was charged extra and at 40 zloty (10 euros) was expensive for Poland. This is just a tiny point - but it would be great to have face-cloths in the bathroom. The overnight parking was a bit high, and found out it was cheaper to say you lost your ticket and pay 20 zloty. Located next to construction site which starts work at 6am. Dark corridors. Lack of public space. Breakfast room too small for number of guests. No fridge in room Dark hall ways. Nothing!. Nothing bad. There was a great girl serving breakfast, probably still learning... and she was twice making cold coffee :) I am sure she will improve with that complicated coffee maschine ;). Minor technical issue in our room - shower cabin doors could use some regulation as they leaked a bit. It would be better to have a Full Sower and no Bath rather than 50/50 . Shower needs re-designing or repositioning with wall mounted hook to enable upright showering - otherwise really awkward. Small breakfast area just few tables, we had to wait for free space in order to eat breakfast. The builders next door starting early. My room was big with rooms that missed good chairs. the square pillows! but I think this is a Polish thing. small room, not secured parking (not private but public). -breakfast expensive. No safe or fridge in room. The polish standard - double bed but two separate quilts.
