The hotel Alef was extremely clean and had charm and character, with great paintings and ornaments throughout.
I loved the power shower and had no complaints with the breakfast buffet~ simple but effective.
The hotel is in a perfect location for walking into Krakow centre.
The staff were nice and helpful and my group of friends and I would certainly stop again :)

I liked the location which was just below the Castle at the edge of teh
old town. We had the Wavel tram stop just next to us whihc ran both
into town , around it and into Kazimierz as well as furhter afield such
as the Bohotara Ghetto. The large rooms were great, especially int eh
heat. The mattresses and pillows were very comfortable and we had clean
sheets daily. The building is lovely. Had we required it, there was
also the very good value Pod Wavelem restaurant on site. The reception
