Fantastic stay! This was our first trip to Poland and we were in Krakow for about a week. My wife and I traveled with another couple so we wanted a clean/comfortable two-bedroom apartment with a kitchen and washing machine within walking distance of multiple historical/tourist areas of Krakow. Ventus Rosa was perfect! And the customer service is outstanding...friendly, attentive, and flexible to schedule changes. They don't have a restaurant or breakfast area but they do have an arrangemen.
all reviews » Fantastic clean and new apartments. Nice kitchen and big luxurious bathroom. Big tv and comfortable beds. Like being at home! Easy to find and within 15 minutes walk to the old town and the train station. Lovely girl at reception checked us in and showed us all the things to see and do on the map and we could even use the printer in the reception. We could also use the washing machine in the room and the hotel provided free washing powder too. the apartments were only a 5 minute walk from the main square so we had the choice of a busy or a quieter place for eating /drinking. the staff were so helpful in booking any trips or transport as needed. the apartments were spotless will be booking them again when we return. from a security aspect could not have been better the Russian embassy right across the road so police on guard at all times. Everything about the place was lovely. We sat out on the balcony and was very relaxed. The room was lovely and the beds comfy. The staff was friendly and accommodated all our queries on where best to eat and the best sightseeing places. The rooms are well equipped with toiletries and hairdryer. Thankyou for making our stay a pleasurable one. We will definitely be back. Staff were exceptional. Nicest we met in Poland. they kindly left us a bottle of wine as it was our anniversary..Great to be able to get bikes to explore city( free if u stay 3+ nights).. wi fi connection was very good.. Location ideal for exploring old city and close to many excellent eateries. Apartment has full kitchen and 2 bedrooms. Unexpected benefit is small local police hut patrolling the neighborhood 24 hours a day. The location was within easy walking distance of the old town and the reception staff were excellent. The kitchen/dining room, bedroom and bathroom were beautifully fitted out and furnished. Secure, free parking was provided on site. Perfectly located 100m outside the Old Town, so very quiet. Lovely quiet area only 10 mins walk from the main square. The hotel staff were really helpful with printing bus timetables and letting us use the hotel's free bikes. Cleanliness of the apartment was excellent. The fixtures and fittings were in very good order and quite modern. very quiet neighborhood. If you have difficulty with stairs you need to request an apartment on a low floor. This is an apartment building with apartments up to 3 or 4 flights of stairs. Wasn't an issue for us but I could see it being an issue for others. The heaters in the room don't produce that much heat but that being said, it was not cold in the room. The wifi goes in and out a bit and sometimes would not connect at all. nothing the whole week we were there was superb. Maybe one International channel on TV.. after a busy day cyclinv around Krakow.. nice to have downtime and catch up on d news!! Whilst id recommend to everyone if you have children or mobility issues ask for a ground floor apartment. Need block out curtains. Kitchen sparsely furnished. No lift so stairs only option. Car parking options is street or nearby long term parking. Parking only free in street between 10pm and 8am. Nothing. At 9am requested to stay an extra night & was told Ok, 10 pm at night, knocked on door to say, no longer possible. No tea towels auto, need to request. We were in a top floor apartment and the weather was extremely hot. as a result the apartment was boiling esp at night. There was a small fan provided which we used. Air condioning would have been great. Nothing...everything was perfect. Thank you!. There was no air conditioning which my family members didn't mind but it wasn't a very warm week. Apartment didn't have a sofa so there wasn't anywhere to sit, otherwise everything was fine. Room one on this occassion suffered from noise from fellow guests returning to there rooms during early hours. Noise carries throughout building due to age and construction. Often disturbed throughout night by other guests coming and going. No hook for the shower head over the bath in our apartment. Not a big room. Nothing. Brilliant apartments. Nothing. Apartment was perhaps not suitable for four adults as living space was very small and seating for four was limited to a table and four chairs and one sofa bed chair. Not at all adequate for four people admittedly on a city visit you are out for most of the time but in a morning or evening it would have been nice to have soft seating even for a short comfort rest. The "apartment" was only a small hotel room with a under equipped kitchenette ( no even equipped to make a sandwich-no cutting board nor knife ).
