This hotel is a real gem. Centrally located, stylish décor and really helpful staff. The hotel was warm and comfortable and the rooms clean and tidy. All the staff were first class. The buffet breakfast was very good and the staff in the breakfast room were friendly and helpful. It was a treat to sit in the small lounge bar after a long day walking the city streets. I will be staying here again.
all reviews » Very well-located in the historic centre of Krakow, 5 minutes walk from the Rynek (market square). Friendly personnel, nice room, which despite the heatwave and the absence of air-co kept an acceptable temperature. Lots of life 24/7 in the surrounding area without it being noisy in the late evening/night. All-in-all, an excellent place to stay. We absolutely loved this hotel - it has an excellent location and highly efficient staff - we travelled as a party of four - myself, husband and my elderly parents - the hotel staff were so kind and had everything organised (taxi, tours etc.) for us so we didn't have to worry about anything - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Krakow. The hotel is right inside the historic and beautiful old part of Krakow. It's a little gem: absolutely immaculately clean, super friendly, and well situated. The buffet breakfasts includes a choice of eggs, cheese, meats, cereal, yoghurt and fresh fruit. Something for everyone. I would deffinitely recommend it. Great decor, very picturesque, very comfortable beds, excellent breakfasts, very clean, staff very pleasant, helpful and a good command of English; excellent Bar with wide range of drinks, great position near the City Wall and northern gate, easy access to the station and to the main square. We stayed in one of the suites and it was fabulous. Breakfasts were very good with a marvellous choice. The location was perfect with a short walk to the train station and direct link to the airport. The main square was a short stroll away and places of interest literally on the doorstep!. The location was excellent. You can start your walk into the Square right from the corner by the Florianski gate which is the recommended entrance into the Rynek. Would liked to have opened the windows but with a bar playing music outside it would have been too noisey. Also the mattress covers under the bed sheet made the bed sweaty, felt like I was lying on a rubber/plastic type material. A more breathable mattress cover and air conditioning for this room would make it more comfortable to sleep in. not a thing. Nothing. Did not enjoy the breakfast ... saw a waiter handling the rolls with his hands. This is not hygenic. Hotel is too hot ... even without the heating on. Rooms to small (single rooms). Shower lack wall bracket. Shampo was empty in my room. There was nothing to not like. Our room had a nasty odour coming from the drain in the bathroom. A bit noisy on Saturday night, but in an odd way this adds to the ambiance. Nothing. The hotel is opposite a McDonalds which is open 24 hours. It was extremely noisy all night even though the room was double glazed. If I stayed there again I would ensure that our room was on the other side of the hotel. Furniture is a bit shabby and in need of renovation, insufficient water pressure in the shower, a little noisy rooms on the road, traveling with children!Do not count on airport transfers!From reception organized TAXI drivers who do not speak English!Result we were taken to the wrong terminal and had to catch a plane at the last moment with a lot of running and additional costs for other traffic!. Some of the staff at the reception were not very friendly. It is in a part of town with a lot of bars. My room was at the street side and there was quite a bit of noise at night. The only problem was noise from the street at night times. A.C had some issues and wasn't working well ...they brought us a fan but was still hot. Nothing. garden of hotel should be more organized. it is better more clean up. There was nothing to dislike. Street noise but that is not the fault of the hotel. Ask for a room at the back if you want a quiet room. A bit noisy room (not good insulation from the noisy street). If you get room facing the street, it is very noisy with all-night revelers. What we did nt like, was the noise from the street. Our room was at the front of the hotel. Actually, for me everything worked perfect. May be, business travellers can miss some comfort and car access to the hotel. nothing, but the furniture is a little older and very romantic, is not suitable for people who prefer modern style. Two girl staff in bar who were more concerned with their personal life and their phones. Customers were an intrusion. Our room overlooking fast food outlet. Very noisy all night (Friday). However we were given new room for following nights with little problem. Also the bar shut at 10pm on a Sunday night. Not very welcoming - we are 4 guys 50 plus looking to share a bottle of wine not stag weekend ladson the razzle. But these 2 points did not mar our break. nothing, the hotel more than met our expectations.
