We liked that the Florianska Apartment House is at the centre of the old town. That the building was full of character and that each apartment was different. The location is fantastic and the staff were very friendly and helpfull.Friendly service. Easy and fast access to great kebabs. Great location. Good location. all reviews » The location was wonderful and staff was very helpful. Pros: Location: Center of everything, 5 min walk to main square, 10 to castle. Great room, staff spoke great English, well stocked kitchenette, close to public transportation. Very nice studio with large bathroom, recently remodeled, +wireless internet. It was quiet, central, comfortable, clean and there is access to sky news and BBC world news if required, the people who ran the apartment were very friendly, efficient and helpful. Staff were very helpful ! Apartment was nicely decorated and centrally located.very friendly staff. Its location; centre of Krakow but off the main square. Lift seemed very dodgy and old - nervous about using it so had to use stairs most of the time. Hallway and stairs very musty and unappealing.The toilet not being in the bathroom. Cons: Multiple flights of stairs with no lift, no close guarded parking, wireless internet a bit unstable.There were lots of stairs to our apartment and no lift so it was a bit of a struggle with heavy suitcases, also we stayed here during Euro 2008 and the street noise from football fans was very loud at night... the stairs,we were three flights up would have preferred a lift.Very poor hot water supply. The 6-8 flights of stairs I had to climb whilst carrying my luggage.A lot of steps to the room. :). 1 towel for four nights, no facitlies to wash cups etc i.e. towel/dish powder. 5 filights of stairs to climb. Office was closed when we arrived @8.30pm even though we sent arrival details by e-mail.Had to go to a nearby hotel to get help. Eventually someone turned up to let us in.Payment was a problem as they could not except chip and pin cards.Lucky we had our bank card, so we could draw out cash. Bed linen a bit suspect. A bit too noisy location. Kitchen was a bit too old to be handy. No sink unit in kitchen. Smell of the takeaway downstairs. Far too many stairs. Room description badly represented.yes the room was not as advertised on site very misleading.i booked a two bedroom for a couple and one single person .i received a one bedroom apt for us all to share,when i queried this with hotel they said thats all we have.
