The location. It was pretty much a 10 minute walk away from everything. Nice ample room, wonderful breakfast, attentive and congenial staff...i liked the location the room the comfort. A good adress. Breakfast was good and location excellent for shopping and sightseeing. very nice and helpful stuff. Close to the cenral part of the city (central station and shopping streets). The chioce of food for breakfast is very nice.

More glazing needed in windows - the sound of thousands of Turks celebrating their win at football went well into the night and prevented sleep!. No receipt for cash payment. Email sent to request receipt but no reply to date. very small room and street side room was loud. - in front of my room was the main road with to tramways and I could not close the window properly. So it was quite loud and I could only sleep using earplugs.Not a good value for money for such basic hotel. It's just a BandB. expected more from a supposed 4 star hotel. no toothbrush in bathroom;bath handle loose;toilet base cracked;room carpet grubby;not much space for clothes unless hanging them up - ok with a short stay;one biscuit in room;no mints for day 2;croissants very stale at breakfast;. They couldn't fine my resevation via Booing.com. Poor room.

By Train & Tram:
At Rotterdam Central Station, take the frontside exit (Centrum), then take tram 3, 5 or 8; get off at the second stop Schiekade/Teilingerstraat. The hotel is on the other side of the intersection.

By Train & By Foot:
At Rotterdam Central Station, take the backside exit (North/Blijdorp), turn right; follow the canal and after 5 minutes you will see the hotel in front of you.
