Very clean and within walking distance of the Centraal train station. You can easily walk to the sites in old Leiden. Across the street is the delicious SUmatra House for Indonesian cuisine. Reasonable room rate and everything in the room functioned (lights, water, etc). Friendly welcome Clean room with large double bed (not twin beds pushed together) View of attractive Leiden street and canal Location 5 minutes walk from the station Fair value for money.

The female receptionist was nice and helpful. Breakfast was fairly simple, but whatever they had was good quality. Internet connection was simple and easy. Close enough to walk from the Leiden Centrall station. . + Location + while heading out, I peeked in the other rooms (the door was left open due to cleaning service), and they looked much nicer and bigger. So, that is why my rating is "average" instead of "poor". Location next to the windmill and station, excellent mattress, lounge bar. the location is pretty central, close to downtown and trainstation. Nice location, friendly staff, big room, nice bathroom. the staff and food were very good. Basic but good. Breakfast was excellent. Beds comfortable. Personell was friendly and helpful. location. Proximity to train. Great restaurants in the area. Very picturesque. Our room was quite small with no room to put two pieces of luggage. Room was somewhat small - fine for 1 night, would have been a problem for a longer stay Breakfast didn't look great value for money. nothing comes to mind. Parking not always available outside the hotel (but not that far to walk with cases if fairly agile); Ocassional sewer smell in room (but not restricted to our hotel). the room dimension - 8-9 sqm and sometimes i had problems with internet conection. - The bedroom was very small - The breakfast is expensive. Room103 was a bit spartan and probably not one of the better rooms. No tooth brushes. For my room, the door and bed are so close that i couldnt open the door widely enough. However maybe thats the reason that room was cheaper than the others?. new staff - very slow check out. Nothing. Male receptionists are not friendly, so if you are looking for a warm atmosphere, you won't get it from them. Two prople promised to have my accounting ready for an early departure, but it was not ready, and took a while to settle when we had very little time. - Smelly corridors - the ventilation system in the room was on and off all night, which was quite annoying and noisy. I figured I could have taken the keycard out of its slot - hence cutting electricity - in which case the ventilation would have been off. yet, it is kind of annoying. - very very small (single) room. - too pricy for the type of room. Staff. The girl who works at reception during the day is very unprofessional, impolite and wicked. the shower is super small, i could not open the rooms door completely as the bed was in the way, there is a carpet on the floor (does not seem to tidy), i found 3 used old socks in my cupboard, only 3 hangers for your suit in the room, the fridge is locked so there was no minibar. Breakfast not great, I had an attic room with no way of closing the skylight blind. Complicated light switches Restaurant closed before 9pm. stain on bed sheet and carpets dirty. Very unfriendly and unhelpful receptionist. Very small room. First room had a safe which even the staff couldn't get to work so moved us. In the second room there was no plug in the washbasin, extractor fan in ensuite not working, smell of bad drains in the corridor. However the major problem was a very intermittent electricity supply in the room resulting in being plunged into darkness regularly especially when using the ensuite which had no windows. Staff seemed unable/unwilling to get emergency repair. Refused any discount for the inconvenience. Chamber had a wierd layout, was small and lacked storage space. Price, in particular the additional breakfast fee, was too high for this accomodation. the person at the reception was very unfriendly. The room reserved for me was awful. However I managed to get another one which was much better. The room was incredibly small. It was cold. The room had garbage in it when I arrived. There was a broken light shade beside the bed with half remaining that looked very sharp and dangerous.
