The Martini Hotel is proud to welcome you to its original Grand Café. The Grand Café is very attractive and furnished in the style of the 1930s. Enjoy a glass of wine, a cold beer or an aperitif.

You can have a delightful dinner at the restaurant De Heeren van Martini, situated next to the hotel. In a relaxed atmosphere you can enjoy the most delicious cuisine. Depending on the season, the restaurant offers a number of special draught or bottled beers.

The restaurant is closed on Sundays.

The Martini Hotel, formerly known as Hotel Weeva, has been a hospitable home for guests from all over the world since its establishment in 1871.

The Martini Hotel is a modern and comfortable hotel with great personal care for its guests. The hotel is open 24 hours a day and has its own parking lot. Reservation is not possible.

Parking is available on-site against a surcharge of EUR 15 per 24 hours. When using the private parking space, car keys need to be handed in at the reception and will be returned when checking-out. Please note that guests can buy a parking card for the public parking garage close by at the reception, with a discount for EUR 18,50 per 24 hours. Next to free WiFi throughout the property there is the possibility to use the wired internet. A cable can be borrowed from the front desk and a small deposit is charged (and returned when the cable is handed in again). Please note that pets are not allowed at the property.

The hotel, located in the lively centre of the city, is the ideal starting point for a business trip or a relaxing weekend off. In its direct vicinity you will find the best restaurants, bars, cafés, cinemas and theatres.

From Drachten (A7) -

You enter Groningen via the A7. At the first traffic lights, you drive straight on and you take the next off ramp (37). At the end of the off ramp, you turn left and you will be on the Hereweg. At the end of the Hereweg – past the bridge over the railway tracks – you turn right by the traffic lights, and left at the next traffic lights. This road turns into a one way street. Past the Police Station, you turn left for the Prinsenstraat. After 25 metres, you see the back of the hotel. Here, you can park your car and leave your key at the reception.

From Assen (A28) -

You enter Groningen via the A28. At the first traffic lights, you go right and you take the next off ramp (37). At the end of the off ramp, you turn left and you will be on the Hereweg. At the end of the Hereweg – past the bridge over the railway tracks – you go right by the traffic lights, and left at the next traffic lights. This road turns into a one way street. Germany (A7) -

You enter Groningen via the A27. You turn left at the third traffic lights (past the McDonalds and Ikea). Turn right at the second traffic lights. This road turns in to a one way street. Past the Police Station, you turn left for the Prinsenstraat. After 25 metres, you see the back of the hotel. Here, you can park your car and leave your key at the reception.

Parking:
If the garage is full, guests can head to the next parking garage, Rademarkt, under the hotel.
Costs: You need to get a ticket for EUR 12.00 at the reception of the hotel.
