the hotel in general was excellent couldn't fault it the staff were so friendly and very helpful. comfortable, cleanness, breakfast is nice, free parking. Everybody said hello from top management to waitresses/chambermaids. Good restaurant, excellent rooms, friendly staff.the nearness to the essaidi centre. The room was very cold on arrival, and after much discussion I moved to another room.Building/ renovation noise. I had assumed all hotels had coffee and tea making facilities in the room. This is the case in the UK.I would have liked a coffee/tee/choclate facility in the room. restaurant service slow,possibly not enough staff. internet conexion was not working, and there was no glass to drink at the room. yes I asked if breakfast was included in my booking and was told yes, then charged for it at check out.Also the family I travelled with stayed in the room next door and only paid 59 euros including breakfast.Breakfast service or lack of it ! A good buffet spoilt by the tables not being set and tea/coffee not served. A long walk back to the table with food that had then to return for cutlery. There was always a long queue at the coffee machine. There were many staff collecting plates etc and it would not take much to have them at least serve tea/coffee.Lack of Tea/Coffe in room. Expensive Internet. Price way to high just for overnight without breakfast.Expensive rate for internet. Room was placed in the ground floor-not the best solution!. only the third room I was assigned was cleaned. The final room I was assigned was very close to the hotel bar terrace so there was quite some noise till late and I had to sleep with ear plugs all week.Also, there was a bus strike going on in the Netherlands but I would have appreciated it would have been mentioned before waiting for a bus that never came . Having a room that smelled of cigarette smoke. Very unpleasant cold bedroom on late arrival !. Long way from city centre [45 minute walk]. room was fairly new, but looked incomplete, restaurant menue was poor, salad was drenched in dressing and chicken was uneatable, service was slow.
