Nadia Hotel is in the perfect location. Just a stroll away from all the main attractions with a nice view across to where Anne Frank House is. The staff there are so friendly. A big special mention to Hazem who was so attentive and helpful to us. We are on a long extended holiday so have very heavy luggage. Hazem was more than happy to carry our suitcases up the very steep stairs of Nadia and bring them back down again on our departure. He really made our stay at Nadia so memorable with his.
all reviews » I liked all of it - this is a quirky, little hotel which has the best location - 10 minutes from main station and 2 minutes from Anne Frank's house. Small room but everything you need, including a little fridge, tea and coffee and a complimentary drink when you arrive. Very friendly, efficient staff. Breakfast fine for a hotel like this - orange juice, apples, yoghurts, bread, cheese and coffee. Had breakfast looking over canal. Because the hotel is above the shops and the building is typically. Lovely, welcoming in central locations, near turkish cafe,Anne Frank's huis and trams ran smoothly by. Flowers in room staff friendly and helpful.Room has all your needs inc kettle, safe, fridge, TV. Lovely Moroccan lamps, Cosy and fluffy blanket in cupboard if you need it. Dining room again compact but well laid out. Plenty for breakfast lovely rolls and bread.butter/jams/cheese/yoghurt/apples. With coffee and hot water for t. Everything constantly topped up as necessary. Tai chi and yoga on . from the moment we entered the hotel the staff were really nice. they took our bags upstairs and offered us a drink upon arrival which was nice. throughout the stay everyone was really friendly. the room was bit on the small side but we didn't really care. was only there for sleeping. there was a fridge, coffee and tea facilities, a safe, wardrobe seriously anything you could ask for... very good value for money, breakfast was more than satisfactory. we had a fantastic stay, with smiley staff. The staff really were very nice and I would stay there again. The location was good, about 15 minds walk from the Station. The rooms were for fir for purpose and had great street view. Its open 24 hrs so you can do as you please. There was no noise and breakfast was served in a beautiful historical room and the coffee was amazing!" The bed was extremely comfy & i loved the fact we had a kettle and fridge in the room to make a coffee in the morning. Also all the shelves in the room was great, even though it was a small room i had a place for all my stuff (meant i was not tripping over my case.) I cannot fault my stay at all as it was good value for money and was the perfect location. Would defiantly stay here again!. We arrived early and the staff looked after our bags until check-in time, and also provided a free welcome drink (water or soft drink). The lady at the desk was helpful with questions and provided a map. The room was cosy, and quite dated, but adequate. The window looked over the street. They also looked after our bags after checkout until late in the evening when we left Amsterdam. Almost everything. The location was superb, really convenient. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Whilst we had no issue with them and felt they were worth the view at the top from the balcony; some people may find the stairs uncomfortable to climb!. Nothing. After several bottles of La Chouffe, these were a challenge. The rooms can be a bit small (and weird shaped) but if you come to Amsterdam, you don't come to stay in the room all your time!. Advertised check-in time was 1400h, but we could not check in until 1500h. Also, despite booking a double room we were told they had not received a preference and could only provide a twin room. The breakfast was basic - croissants, toast and spreads, yogurt, fruit and tea/coffee/juice. No cereal or cooked items. As everybody says, the stairs are very steep but it was not really a problem. There was free wifi but the connection could be very poor. Rather basic continental breakfast, very steep stairs (but staff happy to help get the suitcases up and down them). Noise of trams outside but at least it was quiet once they stopped at night. the street noise was busy, but goes with the central location. I wonder if the breakfast area could be rearranged, maybe have some of the food in one section and some in another, having it right in the entryway made it hard to negotiate around people. room reallly is very small. Stairs are steep and narrow. No problem for us, but it might be for others. Rooms are very small and due to situation on one of main roads in Amsterdam there was a lot of noise from traffic outside particularly the trams - some double glazing on the windows would solve this. It was the smallest double room I have ever stayed in with the bed touching 3 walls. It was the most expensive of all the hotels in my recent European trip but they are probably down to the city and location. Loads of stairs to get to the rooms. Stairs to "Clouds" from street to 3 Floor, Breakfest too poor, small rooms. Very small room and not wisely furnished. Bathroom in single room must be accessed with strategic movements because the bed blocks the door. Hotel access stairway is real challenge and no lift is available. too noisy street view room.
