view, location and interior design- are really great. And a window in room 306 is hillarious!=). Excellent newly refurbished rooms and in a very good location close to the RijksMuseum. The hotel location is perfect, its only 5 mins walk to the center. Excellent location on a quiet street but very close to the action with free Internet!. This is a great location for just about everything. Staff was super helpfull with maps tram info and anything else I needed. Rooms are small and walls are thin but for the cheapest hotel I could find it was clean comfortable and had an elevator. They also have scooter rentals for those that want to tour on their own.it was only 5 weeks old when i stayed there, and it was a beautiful place to lodge. i love the decor, very hot colors, very new and exciting. it had an elegant feel, yet was still edgy enough for a younger guy like myself. The hotel staff really was the best part. Very helpful and friendly!. It is a very central situated in a very good neighboorhoud, recently redecorated.... and they have single rooms prices.... which is ideal for those who travel just by them self..... Everything, we have a great room in the corener which view the great street. The hotel is close by to all places we needed.Right next to the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum. Convenient for the centre of the city too. Great location and helpful staff. good price (internet price). Location. The location is great, very quiet area, 2 min walk from the entrance of the Rijksmuseum. Good quality and value for money. Room was small but had everything you need with a simple and modern decoration. The location was excellent and the price very good. Very good value for money. The room was basic but nice and clean and the staff friendly and helpful.Helpfulness of staff and nearby facilities for dining and touring. Location. Well situated hotel. Estetically nice rooms. location for sights and visiting friends. Friendly staff, good location. The Location. The location of this hotel is excellent with trams and buses very closeby the hotel. It is also close to lots of good restaurants. Staff was friendly, Room was warm enough and clean, so was the bathroom. Good bed and matras.Free WIFI!. The fact that free use of a computer and internet was available, also the helpfulness of the staff. Location was great, and overall it was a good value for money we paid. The location is good, close to Vondelpark and Leidseplein. Perfect tram connection to the city center and the central station very close by. Location in Amsterdam, new hotel for young people, possibility to pre-book breaksfast at preferred rate, scooter renting available. The lounge of the hotel is very nice. Great location. On the plus side the Internet access is free. And surprisingly fast. I am sure the hotel will appeal to the budget-conscious traveller out to sample Amsterdams' vices. The manager was very friendly and helpful. Very friendly staff. Location, breakfast. location. Location. location. The location of the hotel is rather favourable when interested in visiting Leidseplein, Overtoom etc. The staff was never unfriendly. price of parking. I had booked a round trip on the hotel shuttel, but the shuttlel did not show up! The desk clerck called they told him the shuttel had broken down, so he called a taxi. At the airport I went to the Connexions desk where they refunded my return ticket. Then they checked the reservation for my return and told me it was not in the computer, so I don,t know what happened with the shuttel!. no where secure to store baggage after checking out. no air condition in a room!!!!. Having to go to reception to get a ticket for breakfast was a pain, especially having just walked past prior to going in to the breakfast room (on the floor below). Tell us about these things before. There is no room service. Creaking floors and small room but both are tolerable.there was no shower wall to prevent water from spraying all over the place. i don't understand this about europeans. they don't like putting up shower walls or curtains and i find this extremely annoying. it makes a complete mess!. The room itself was a bit small. Maybe it was just my room, but the pictures provided were a bit deceiving.no water in room....or anywhere in the hotel at all. WiFi didn't work in room, I had to go downstairs. bathroom could stand to be updated (better plumbing, electrical outlet above sink did not have current. This is a temporary condition, but construction on back of bldg....things will obviously improve when this is finished. My bathroom (not been refurbished..). The cleaner is a bit slow, and several time we need to call her to clean and change the towels.Lack of air conditioning. small tv screen. Just the smell of the hotel it dont smells good. not to conduct repair works in corridors. The walls are a bit thin. A light switch control at the room entrance for an overhead light wouldhave been helpful upon entering the room during evening hours. They have blocked money from my account in advance and haven't payed it back yet, eventhough my stay at the hotel is over 3 days ago. I don't think that it's normal that they can administrate your money when you have already consumed the product. No minibar. No music. Building work next to the hotel starting at 7am. Too dark, bit small rooms. The lighting in the room needs to be improved! For example: there was noceiling light even though there was a switch on the wall for it. Thebathroom only had one small light over the toilet so no light forshaving, etc. I would recommend this hotel for its location, but thelighting in the room is truly terrible.Some-one walking into my room unannounced. Not having the bill in the correct name. They promised to send it, I hope I will receive it. bed was too hard, left me aching in the morning. Our plane was evening one, so we asked for late check-out of about two-three hours. And we were suggested to pay EUR 10 for each consequtive hour of late check-out. In other places it was not a problem, to have a courtesy late check-out or early check-in, but the offer we got was a bit surprising. However, we were offered to leave our luggage in the hotel until our departure as a consolation. :). The WLAN didnt work on the third floor since the signal was too poor. Not the perfect place to stay if you need a reliable Internetline.Very small room, no space at all in the bathroom, rooms are a bit noisy. The hotel rooms did not have hot water, functioning telephone access or a hair blow-dryer.Bathroom was a little tired. Single rooms far to small, thin walls, cold during the morning, nofridge - also it was mentioned...When trying to check in had t owait about an hour to get seen by reception never mind getting checked in. The pics on the site were very deceiving. The hotel rooms are small and pokey. Intiallly I asked for a room on the top floor but I forgot that here in Europe the top floor means you are living in the roof with low ceilings and no space. :-( So changed to one floor down. But the room was still very uncomfortable. I tried checking out the next day but they require 48hrs notice. The incredible tiny bathroom and the breakfastroom is in the basement, no daylight at all. Extremely small room, the view was against a wall on the neighbouring building, no toilietries provided. The hotel itself was ok but I had to complain as there was construction going on underneath the hotel which started at 6 each morning which disturbed us so what should have been a relaxing time turned into a very tiring time. I understand that the construction was not to do with the hotel, but i was not informed of this before travelling and felt very angry that at 6 each morning we were awoken. Single glazed windows... being near a main road and tram stop it was quite load. Being a newly renovated (boutique) hotel I would expect more from the bathroom... but this didn't look as though it had been touched since the 70's. Plus, I've never stayed in a hotel where there was no shower gel, soap or shampoo!. room wasnt ready , sheets not changed. no closet space, no safe available, unsecured luggage storage,. The room I booked was terribly expensive in relation to what it offers: Very small room that reminded me of my closet, old bathroom installations. The room sizes are too small this should have been pointed out and onthe whole the environment was very noisy.
