It takes a 5-minute walk to tram stop Dam Square with excellent connections to Amsterdam Central Station and the rest of the city. Metro Nieuwmarkt is 3 minutes away.

very good experience from clean room, plenty of hot water to friendly staff. good breakfast from caring cook, who is a most interesting fellow. you will feel safe and looked out for here. Location was fantastic to central Amsterdamn. Close to central station, could walk to many places. Room was clean, and recepetion was friendly. Would stay here again. Staff were so friendly and helpful, location in the red light was quiet enough but plenty to do nearby, and really enjoyed the breakfast which was included.

Perfect! Pocket friendly, confort, nice location, etc...Really worth your money, at a reasonable price!!. Staff were friendly, helpful and very accommodating to our needs. Caution: stairs are steep, but a norm in the facilities of the area. No elevator. Tall and very narrow stairs could be difficult after a few refreshments but to be fair a minor inconvenience only. If you're looking for luxuries or amenities, stay somewhere else ( I.e the shower needs a shower curtain), but if you plan to be out having a good time in the rld then it doesn't really matter anyway. Not too bad, but room was a bit dingy/dirty. very steep stairs, not for elderly or those with climbing steps problems, most rooms w/out washing chambers. No TV in room 102. Had to wait until 2pm to check in, no kettle, steep stairs. The only thing i can say i didnt like was the stairs up to the room but alot of places in amsterdam is this way . The rooms could be a little bit cleaner. know it cant be helped but stairs are steep, when your'e a mature age!!!!. Steep stairs. I didn't like the way I was spoken to one night when I struggled to get into the hotel. And the guy working behind the counter was getting very loud and intimidating. I actually thought he was going to punch me. He was swearing at me !. Steep stairs but they were manageable. No ashtray in room. Breakfast was very limited. Nothing. breakfast could start earlier. This hotel doesn't have elavator and air conditioning systems. I booked a single room with private bathroom but was given a shared bathroom. Stairs are lethal and very steep, elderly and children please avoid. Breakfast starts only at 9am - ridiculous! Only night guard is in place until then. View from window was for dirthy roof with hundrets rest of cigarets. The room looked quite battered; the breakfast was poor. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the bedroom was very cramped. It is not worth to pay this price and stay with this hotel!!!.
