The size and decor of the rooms and of the hotel were great. The pool and the pool garden were wonderfully relaxing. Close proximity to both port and train station. Nice, big and comfortable room. Good location, on a big avenue right in the middle between the train station and the medina.Wifi everywhere.Very rich breakfast. reception staff friendly as we are occasional visitors to Tangier and always stay at the Rif Rooms are good size & clean & comfortable.

I love the location, it is near to the train station, to the port, and main attraction at Tangier. The sea view was great the room was clean Staff were nice. Location is very good close to lots of facilities reception staff and porters are friendly and helpful. Good location for the old and new town. Spacious comfortable rooms. The decor around the hotel. Don't order food at the pool cafe when they are transitioning it to the nightclub - it took forever. Pay the extra money to get a room facing the street. Otherwise you wind up listening to the outdoor nightclub until they turn down the music at 11:30 PM. At the check out the credit card machine was out of paper.If I didn't use my e-banking to show them that the transaction was completed they would charge me twice.They insisted that there was an error in the transaction (there wasn't). Although I never use the swimming pools, I noticed that it was dirty. Every night there was a live music party with terribly loud music. Thankfully they stopped before midnight. Bar & Restaurant staff could be a bit more customer friendly. Breakfast food ran out and some things could not be replenished, however an alternative was offered. The noise from the nearby nightclubbers/taxis was very disturbing on the front rooms (sat eve). The elevator, too small. I did booked the room via booking but at the checkout they made me pay for extra tax though it was included in the booking price. And didn't gave me an invoice for it. There is a large construction project to extend the pier in front of the hotel. It is quiet, but does detract from the view. However, when complete it will look fantastic! The beach is not suitable for swimming. AC did not work in the room, asked they to repetedly fix it, but nothing happend. Bathroom shower door was leaking badly. Some parts of the room was well maintained and other were not. I suppose compared to Moroccan standards, it was a good hotel but for almost 100euro/night, it was poor for european standards. dining room staff are like zombies at breakfast you ask for something and they look at you as if you are crazy. By the way I speak English French and a little Arabic so I am sure they understood me. Lack of tourist information about the city available. Service in the bar was very poor. No room safe. Breakfast wasn, t replenished during service enough. The horrible noise from the music of the terrace of the hotel, that don't let me sleep; for it, I had to leave the hotel. The food.
