Hands down the best b&b and staff on this side of the international dateline! The staff was welcoming, helpful and attentive. The owner of the Riad was around and always made himself available to help in any way and to make sure we were comfortable. The room we stayed in was probably their most basic/cheapest room but, I did see their other rooms in the main Riad and they were gorgeous! I kind of wished we had upgraded. The terrace is perfect for sunbathing or just relaxing. It is centrally.
all reviews » The owners of Misria go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Being a solo female traveller I really appreciated all they did for me. On my arrival I realised my credit card had broken, Michael (the owner) took me on his motorbike to his bank to try sort my problem. And says if that didn't work he was happy to lend me the money until I could get it to him. The Riad really felt like a home and you got to know everyone else staying there. Michael organised all tours and . A beautiful riad in a fantastic location. The welcome could not have been friendly and the service is also brilliant. The decor of the riad and the rooms will leave you marvelled - it is truly beautiful. The food is also fantastic - why eat out when you can enjoy a great meal in stunning surroundings. A lovely terrace to enjoy day and evening. We stayed in an apartment style room with 2 bedrooms and a magnificent shower and open courtyard. A truly positive experience. The owners were so helpful. Riad Misria is the perfect location to acces the souks and the djemaa el Fna, the staff are friendly, cheerful and always willing to help and the home cooked food is an absolute must try! Marrakech is the perfect stepping stone and pit-stop for accessing either the Atlas mountains or the towns and villages on the Atlantic coast. The riad has a number of excurions you can go on with transfers and guides included. The Riad Misria is a tranquil, peaceful haven in the middle of a bustling city!. Our room was amazing and beautifully decorated. Michel and Erika were both wonderful hosts. We were able to use their hamman for free, just need to inform them 3 hours before so they can set it up. There is also a heated swimming pool inside but we didn't use that. When we checked out, they graciously arranged for their male housekeeper to help with our bags to get a taxi. would like to thanks all the personal of the Riad, that have been fantastic and very friendly with us. We will definitively come back to the Riad if we have to come back to Marrakech. The personal make our stay very different, we keep a very good souvenir from Marrakech. Riad Misria gives you a feeling of warm welcome with a lot of personal attention. The sphere and location of the Riad is very nice. Book the driver to pick you up at the airport, this is a lot easier and otherwise you simply will not find it. The staff were incredibly helpful and very friendly. I have nothing negative to say about Riad Misria. I suppose the one negative thing about Marrakech is not being able to "window shop" without constantly being hassled by the ever enthusiastic shop- keepers but that is the way of life there. Location was a bit far but we did discover new places to eat around the area that were really good and at a cheap price too. During our stay the hammam was renewed, so we could not use it. The owner of the riad informed us, so for us it was no problem. More varied breakfast would be nice. Impossible to find the place, it is lost in the medina. No name or street number is displayed near the door, you absilutely need to ask them to bring you there. Wifi was broken and air conditioning was not always working. Didnt stay long enough. Can be hard to find, but is to be expected inside the medina.
