Everything was perfect, the building itself was beautiful and a great environment to stay in. Breakfast was delicious - it was more or less the same every day but there was enough varietey within that (sweet pastries, three types of pancakes, homemade yoghurt, bread and more) to keep our tastbuds happy for a whole week. The 6 of us had such a great time. Simo and all the staff couldn't have been more helpful, arranging a traditional Morroccan meal for our late arrival, advising us on sights and restaurants and organising a day at a beautiful private pool when the temperature hit 40! The location within the medina next to the Royal Palace is great and although the walk to Jemaa el fna takes 10-15 minutes it means you see more of the side streets plus the palace walls with nesting storks. As soon as we arrived in the Medina by cab, we were greeted by a guide from the riad who delivered us safely to Elsa.
Upon arrival we were greeted with tea and the owners gave us tips on what to see, how to get around and to avoid any local water / ice etc. They were also kind enough to lend us Moroccan dirham for dinner which we could settle on our departure. The daily breakfast was delicious and served on the rooftop terrace.

The Riad is very nice, we had a nice breakfast every morning and got an upgrade of our room for free. The room had aircon, was cleaned everyday and the bathroom is perfect. The swimming pool is small, but if you just want to cool down it's a perfect size! I would absolutely recommend it. It's a ten minute walk from the 'Jema el fnaa' square in a quiet neighborhoud.
