  The Ibis is situated on the outskirts of town a very short taxi drive away from the old Medina (haggle the price before getting in, we paid just 2dh about 2 euros each way for 2 people in a petite taxi and 5dh for 4 in a grand taxi each way). We bought a map o... what people say » f Fez from the news agents in the station but trust me when I say trying to follow it was near on impossible. We were touring in our own car and were - We spent three nights there and took two day trips from Fes (Meknes, 1 hour and Taza 2 hours). The hotel's proximity to the train station made it an ideal location for us, though it is still only a short petit taxi ride (10mins) to the Medina (9.50 Dirhams on the meter, though be careful because most taxis outside are picking up people from the train station and ripping them off. One taxi quoted us 40 Dirhams) There is a nice outdoor pool on the ground floor. Buffet breakfast was nice.

  My room was comfortable, calm, good shower and bath etc. The staff very helpful and friendly. Surroundings have a special charm - lots of mosaic, plants and fountains. Lovely little pool to swim in and relax by. I felt very much at home there during my stay and really found it relaxing and very suitable at the same time to get on with my work.   Almost everything, the staff was gret and very helpfull during all my stay in fes. After the Fes i come to mulay idriss, and from there I come back to airport, when i come back they store my belongings, four days after I stay in their hotel! awesome!!! - simple it was very reachable as the station is only few mins walk and there is masjid only ab... what people say » out 5 mins walk and foods place all along the main road so there is plenty to look and see.
