Riad was perfectly located to everything in Essouria. Annie was exceptionally hospitable and friendly and made for a perfect host at Dar el Paco. The Riad itself was wonderful and the room was comfortable and clean with a large kitchen and comfortable dining area for breakfast or reading and chatting to other guests if you wished to do so. Value for money too and would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking to find someone central that ticks all the boxes. Thankyou again Dar el .
all reviews » The hotel is in a perfect location to explore the medina and not far from the beach. It was very easy to find! Our room was clean and beautifully decorated. The power shower was hot which was amazing after a week of cold showers elsewhere. We were made to feel really welcome when we arrived. Would definitely stay again! Essaouira is beautiful and a refreshing change to the craziness of Marrakesh!. Nestled in a sweet sleepy beach town this is a perfect escape from the madness of marrakech, just a 3 hr bus ride from marrakech the staff is amazing the breakfast is small but divine lovely home and sweet town full of shops no haggling set pricing gorgeous beach atvs camel rides cafes with patios picturesque town game of thrones season 3 was filmed here also fyi. Lovely place, clean and well-maintained, friendly welcome, quiet room with comfy bed - perfect for weekend relaxation! Beautifully served breakfast. In fact, nothing extraordinary, but very warm and home-like! Found an interesting book in riad's library which the owner graciously allowed me to take with me! I recommend this riad to everybody!. Our (private) room had actually 2 rooms, a lobby with a sofa :) First time in many stays in hostels. Very nice furnished, very clean, very central. And an amazing thing was that one day when we were out the cleaning lady, beside the perfect cleaning also packed all of our stuff and places every object in the right place :). Annie and her staff really make El Paco something special in Essaouira. One of the best serviced little hotels I have ever stayed in. Rooms are small but well equipped, even storage, hooks and a hairdryer in the very tiny but charming bathroom. Fantastic price -value balance and deservedly booked out a lot of times. The girl of the reception was so lovely and gentle, we had to leave early in the morning and she prepared us a lovely meal before the actual time of the breakfast, it was the best breakfast we had in Morocco! And she was so nice and friendly! The shower was excellent, the location too!. Kitchou is the perfect host,sweet and helpful as the rest of the staff! We loved every day of our stay in this Riad. Our room was clean, beautiful and cosy. Apart from going out we could cook fresh fish in the kitchen downstairs, it really feels like home. Definitely will be back!!. Right in the middle of the town and down a less busy street than some of the others. Great sandwich place next door. Hostess was lovely and very calm and you get a key for the door, which is a relief. Breakfast was good and a nice pot of coffee. Get your Argan oil from this town!. Everything. the location is fantastic, in the center of the ancient medina and the price is really cheap for what you get. Good location Nice Rooms. Just small details: no curtain in the shower and broken seat on the toilet. Using the toilet might be embarrassing if you share the room with someone, as it's not completely separated from the room by "saloon-style" door. The view from terrasse is not that exciting but it's clean and well maintained. I found the bathroom door very uncomfortable because it was a western-like door... made of 2 wooden pieces, much more shorter than the height of the room... no intimacy at all. You could easily see/hear everything.. But is manageable.. Breakfast was kind of stodgy (typical Moroccan fare) and unusual tasting coffee, but these are very minor quips in an overall lovely experience. The Riad was great, but if you need privacy in the toliet, this isn't the place for you. Toilet has saloon doors. We didn't mind though!. the wifi would be nice in the room too but it worked in the lounge well. Truthfully can't complain!. The bathroom could have been better. A bit noisy, not from the street but from inside the riad (other visitors). The warm water finishes too fast. If you find climbing stairs difficult, this place might not be for you! 3rd floor is a bit of a puff. quite smelly neighbourhood, but this is common in Essaouira. breakfast is very basic,but thats ok with the low price. None. Next building - mosque, so in early morning (about 5am) prayers starts. The room (Ifrane) was a little bit small. nothing negative to say. bathroom could be better, little bit hard to find it. Very close to mosque. Bedroom was far too small and no wardrobes of cupboards. Unlike other budget riads, City tax not included. Only stated small print in room description. If it was obvious the room was 3 euros more, would have picked another place. Please include all taxes in final price!. It was very dark in my room at night with only a dim light. Internet available only in common areas but this seems to be quite normal in riads. All was good. It could be hot in summer. Absolutely nothing to fault. The room leaves a feeling that is not very clean possibly due to the humidity of the city. located next door to a mosque so the call to prayer was very loud at 5am. it sounded like the speaker was pointing at my window.
