A bit expensive, yet it is okay. Convenient for snokelling. The facilities and service can be improved. E.G. utensils should be provided when serving the fruits; no rubbish bin is provided in the pantry area. Even we called the housekeeping for the utensils, the request was unattended eventually.

  Very central location, very helpful friendly front desk staffs,just to name a few-Grace,Susan,Kim.....We just finished our tour from Thaland,Singapore and West Malaysia,this hotel room by far was the best. Almost forgot to mention that we did'nt know how to use the room safe, so I called and within a minute a - I stayed at Horizon for 3days during my holiday to Sabah recently..There's nothing we dont like about this hotel, our stay was worth it..I Wish we could stay a bit longer at Horizon..The view is breathtaking, the staff is very helpfull, we get our room (with sea view) as per requested in the booking and they even upgrade our room to deluxe king as i've mention in my booking that we were travelling with our baby and it's foc..i will surely stay at this hotel for our next visit to Sabah..This hot

  I liked the spacious rooms with pleasant views of the green forest and the friendly and helpful staff. The General Manager was approachable and she was very friendly. We were not charged for an extended check out as we found out when it came to settle our bill. The IT Manager went out of his way to help us with our queries regarding shopping for ... what people say » a smart phone. Of course to be able to have wifi made a lot of difference to my stay. We used the excellent shuttle bus many times.   Rasa Ria is not a cheap resort but it is a lovely one. The rooms were well thoughtfully designed for the traveler - for once the room lighting was such that you could actually see in the room. What I liked the most about Rasa Ria was that some activities were included in the room price such as kayaking and sailing. The restaurants were also reason... what people say » ably priced. I didn't get the feeling that I was always putting my hand in my pocket. The Orang-utan sanctuary was an added bonus. - I have been to many 5 star hotels but this is definitely one of the best for a family vacation. It has two wings - Ocean wing and Garden Wing. Both have a beautiful pool. The garden wing pool has a very nice slide for the kids. There are 3 restaurants which serve really nice food. We wanted to extend by 1 day but there was not a single room available!

  The room was great, the seaview excellent. The club service was good and the evening snacks selection adequate for an afternoon tea session with friends - The club facilities were excellent. It was great to be able to have early breakfast then return for morning coffee. The city is very accessible.

  Staff here were excellent in particular the concierge service (special mention to Sylver and Philip for going out of their way to be helpful and friendly). The Le Meridien is a nice, well presented hotel, the rooms are clean / nice and the pool area is fun and very well maintained. The breakfast buffet wasn't included in our package but we ordered... what people say » room service for breakfast and that was very good, the poolside club sandwich we ordered was also good. So I would guess their chefs know what they a - Everything was fantastic. For such a large hotel the staff were extremely friendly. The service was excellent.. We loved the hotel location and the location of the gym looking over the sea would have to be the best location for a gym we have been in. We also really enjoyed the sundowner with the staff on the Wednesday evening. The f old at the restaurant was of a high standard and the service we could not fault. Thankyou for a superb stay!

  The staff always made sure we had all we needed. The resort's private beach is exquisite and has a snorkeling trail for its clients. They also have a nice trekking path with a nice view of the tropical forest (an employee will take you there complimentarily). The spa was amazing as they have well trained professionals taking care of you. There are wild animals such as monkeys, - Very friendly and helpful staff. The location is fabulous and away from the hustle and bustle of town, very relaxing ambiance. Food is very good quality and plentiful. These people care about guests having an enjoyable time at the resort.

  Nice hotel with clean & comfortable room. On a separate note, I had a bad experiecned with one of the front desk staff while I was talking to her to complaint that my air cond room was not working when I came back from dinner somewhere at 11pm. I couldn't continue to talk to her as she was being rude to me . However, I have to say great job to... what people say » the Manager for taking over to entertain me & has given me a better room with great hospitality. The next day once I am back from work a lady man - Love the furniture and atmoshphere of the room. Warmth, luxury, and all promised on the images seen was there. Reliable and consistent services just like other Novotel Hotels Chains brand we expected.   Staff were friendly. Our children were upgraded to an executive room free of charge. Our room was lovely with a view of the pool and the sea. - The facilities are pretty good.

  When we called for maintenance to fix the stuck shower switch - help came within 10-20mins and fixed it in 2mins. Housekeeping was thorough and respectful of our belongings.
