  My husband and I spent 5 days at the Datai. I've stayed in many hotels over the years but I can honestly say, that I enjoyed my stay at the Datai more than any other hotel I've ever stayed in. I felt a sense of peace being close to nature and the sea. All the staff were wonderful and couldnt do enough to make our stay comfortable. And I c - It was a great experiance at the TAJ - Rebak Island resort from the time of check -in to our check-out- every thing was taken care so well, the staff at TAJ is amazing and so Hospitable, especially their Guest service Relations Executive MS. Pantea Rodd who took care of me and my family requets.. would highly recommend this property and would love to come back and stay @ TAJ Rebak Island Resort !!!

  It was the best hotel and resort i stayed in during my visit to malaysia, truly a luxurious experience, starting from check in to check out, they were very friendly and helpful, the resort was modernly designed , amazing sea view from our balcony , such a relaxing place, the view from the pool was breath taking, the breakfast in the morning was ... what people say » royal ! enjoyed every moment of my stay, i would definitely recommend it for any1 who want the full luxurious experience! - The buffet breakfast is one of the best in comparison to many 5 star hotels that I have stayed at. Very fresh, excellent variety, really amazing all around. The bed is extremely comfortable, the swimming pool is absolutely beautiful. There were a couple of minor instances that I had to raise my concern about, however the Guest Relations Manager (Jana Zahranova) was very courteous, professional and helpful. I can only highly recommend the Westin Langkawi.

Nice swimming pool and very close to beach and beside beach is a small bar, everything done for fantastic rest. Lifeguar - Absolutely fabulous! Perfect beach location for relaxing family holiday, plenty restaurants and shops within walking distance. Friendly service without being intrusive, the staff always happy and smiling. Food outstanding at the restaurant and pool side, breakfast good with plenty choice and good coffee. The resort and rooms are clean and well maintained, security courteous and professional. Well done Frangipani for brilliant team effort to provide us with a perfect family holiday!

Very trustworthy house-keeping (I lost a key of a rented scooter and one of the house keeping maids kept it with her for a safe keeping until I reported to the reception, and the bell boy was looking with me, then the house... what people say » - keeping maid told him: she found it and it's with her) I rewarded her with some cash for her honesty. - The hotel staffs were very accommodating with our requests. Conveniently located close to the Kuah Jetty. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. I accidentally left my external hard disk in the hotel and the staff/housekeeping were very responsive when I called and explained my dilemma. They managed to locate the device and have it shipped back to me almost immediately.

  Amazing location - it's far away from other hotels (except Datai) in one of the most wonderful seashore I've ever seen, a lot of green around so as you live like in the wild tropical forest with beautiful sea-view. A lot of animals that live really in front of hotel but they all are really friendly to you (monkeys, geckos, beautiful birds, squirel... what people say » ls, flying lemurs etc). Restaurants are very goo (especially Fish restsurant with a very fresh seafood that local fishermans bring there 3 times a wee - -Local staff is extremely friendly, and they work well together as a team. They even know details about our personal preferences, which is the kind of service that money cannot buy.   Very nice view from the balacony. The room is clean and well orgnized. Facilities of the hotel are great , swimming pool is excellent , the bar and resturant with sea front view is very romantic and nice to spend the evenings there. Overall I would recommend the hotel. The hotel is actully at the edge of the island the view is amazing and is close... what people say » to the samll shopping areas , dinner cruise trip and so on. It's nice place to stay for 3 nights or to be station for trips with reasonable price. No - Location is excellent. The road ends at the gate of this hotel, as if the hotel is an empire by itself. It has a lovely port where you can dine infront of it. I liked the room series 4000 and 5000 because 1000, 2000, and 3000 series rooms have a weird carpet smell in their corridor. The hotel is 15 min from airport, 5 minutes from the market, and 2 minutes away from the best beach activities.
