All the staff were brilliant! From the moment we arrived, we received the warmest of welcomes. Happy to chat and advise/recommend activities locally, or just generally whilst we were having drinks at the bar. A terrific atmosphere in the hotel, design, comfort, attention to details, location, value, food, drinks.. We had a brilliant stay and I'd happily recommend to anyone visiting Kuching!.
all reviews » There is nothing not to like at this lovely spot in a great town. It starts from the moment you walk in the door and goes from there. Even when we were dropped off at the bus stop we were told to just ring if we needed any sort of help. Celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary at the Batik and will remember it because of this great hotel. And the champagne of course!. Unlike the big hotels around Batik, it gave me the best experience. A welcome drink and yummy Batik cake brightened up my day beginning at check-in. The staff were wonderful; they provided incomparable personal service on everything. Food was surprisingly good. I'll look nowhere else when I next stay in Kuching. Room is very nice and modern, lot of space and bathroom with tub...at this price we've not seen a lot! For this hotel, price from letsbookhotel.com was very interesting if you compare with promotions from the hotel. Friendly welcome with drinks and cake. Room is comfortable, shower and bad are very good. Complimentary coffee and tea in the room. Good location, you can do serveral activities from there. Go for Lyn's Tandoori Restaurant instead, it is only about 50 meters away from the hotel. - No room service at night, but I think is normal for this kind of hotel. - Room not super clean. breakfast : not much choice, uncertain supply of food garden unkempt. Smeells musky,old. Cheaper better hotels nearby same price with pool and better facilities cant understand the high rating.
