Their service was excellent. I had water leaking infront of the toilet and as soon as I informed the Manager on Duty, this problem was immediately attended to and within fifteen minutes the problem resolved. Fantastic. The hotel also provided me with the type of room that I requested. So I had no issue with the hotel..my stay was good and wish I could stay longer. Reception staff & concierge very polite & helpful. Rooms & bathrooms were very clean. Appreciated the fact that I got adjoining rooms for kids easily. No fuss/ excuse Request entertained.Tq.
all reviews » I was not able to cancel an extra night's stay at Impiana through the hotel staff; was asked to go online to letsbookhotel.com! And as such was too late and had to pay for the unused room on 27/1/2013. Great for short stopover after Cameron Highlands and Pangkor Island holiday before flight back to Singapore. Very close to airport. Not far from Ipoh old town so easy to walk around Heritage Trail. Spacious rooms. Got what we requested for i.e connecting rooms and bed preferences. Efficient housekeeping, quick response to requests. Friendly staff and good variety of breakfast menu. All the facilities provided were satisfactory except breakfast dishes are quite common and parking areas that it feels less secure. Close to town and government offices. Next to Istana Kinta (castle), so the area is safe. Room and bathroom are very clean. It's location,easy to continue journey especially southbound,jln Raja Nazrin takes you straight to N-S Highway. The room is clean and neat. Since it's located quite far away from the street, it's quiet and comfortable. The staffs are very friendly and courteous. The location is near to town. And the food is quite nice. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The food was good and everywhere was clean and comfortable. Too short to stay in the room no time to look around. Intermittent wifi, kept having to log in over and over both in room and in lobby, but at least it was available and free for guests. None. Absence of a shopping mall or shops nearby. The security guard was a bit ill mannered when we're asked harshly not to park at certain place. The room is old and to access to the room the hotel still uses a key. This hotel really need a seriuos refurbish. And if you want to swim you must be those who enjoy the extreme heat under the sun. Nothing to complain about. TV sensor not working. No room service menu in room. Staff, particular in the buffet breakfast area are poorly managed and largely ineffectual. This spoiled our stay. Housekeeping is also not a strong point. Parking area. Its quite hard to find parking space cause its limited. old building/facilities - need refurbish run down car park. The parking area is limited. Swimming pool is a bit small. Finishings ie peeling off wallpapers, old carpets. clearly the hotel requires some renovation especially the toilets but still bearable.. not enough chairs at pool area. torn carpets and no hand towels!. the parking. Tv channel is limited. less of parking area with security feature. Hi Tea wished if there are more varieties. Corridors were dark and spooky feeling. Menu and food was lacking in choice. Hard to get service staff attention at restaurant. Have stayed several times and Checkin service always slow. Otherwise nothing to complain about. . Swimming pool needs landscaping / seatings . Carpet at passageway needs shampooing. Housekeeping needs an improvement. The bathroom fittings were quite old and hot and cold water in the shower was not in order. On first day,the staff forgot to put towels in washroom. Wifi signals were poor. Staff need improve. Especially f@b staff. Not friendly. Not like impiana klcc staff. Happen just In front of me 1 girl staff not happy when one pilot guests ask her to do half boil egg. He complain something to his friend about the piloy just in front of me.. Egg station not friendly. Not smile. Front desk during cek in cek out same thing. Staff attitude is fair. Hard to see they smile. Talk to fast. The room that we stayed in has hair on the carpet as if it wasnt vacuumed properly.. Also the bathroom floor is really slippery when wet.. room service poor. slow and served cold orders. the remote for TV not working. should be checked regularly. The cook for breakfast preparing eggs serving omellette etc rather rude. when requested to help out preparation of mee hilam his reply was " i have only two hands" that comment uncalled for and rather rude bad for hotel imej. Rooms could be better maintained. Safe did not work, ducting for wire around door was hanging loose, tv had to be replaced by a working one, shower curtain was too long and had a sour smell. And they have the thinnest toilet paper in the guest room. The public toilets in the lobby level had normal toilet paper. Sleep was disturb by some people playing firework one road across the hotel in the middle of the night. HOTEL should do something to stop this inconsiderate action. Breakfast was okay but could further improve. A bit run down. need to upgrade. No security guard present in the front car park during mid night. Hair dryer is very old and having problem. Poor bathroom facilty, including sub-standard towels. No covered parking. Wifi in room works intermittently. Got my room an hour and a half late. Check-in staff was neither friendly nor rude - could do better. Did not apologize for not accommodating request of having a double bed (though stated during booking). Room was ok, bathroom a bit dated. Found hair at the bedside table. Should be more thorough during cleaning. The room use traditional key, should change to key card for safety. when i book at letsbookhotel.com the total i should pay is around RM327. but i want to pay at hotel.. i should add around almost RM 70 due to some of charge. i dont like surprise like this.
