all reviews » One of the best hotels I've stayed at in my whole life. Thouhg it was expensive, but it was really nice, breath taking view, very spacious rooms, friendly staff, nice resturants, excellent breakfast, Dinner with the Volcano Show was nice, very nice indoor and outdoor swimming pools for kids and adults, nice relaxing facilities at the beach, and great idea for the barbeque at the camping area but we did not try it :). The staff was extremely kind and helpful. They really treat you like royalty. From the moment we stepped into the hotel to the time we left there was always someone assisting us in some way to make our trip as memorable as possible. A fine quality resort hotel in a good location within Seogwipo region. All staff were courteous& very friendly. Would certainly recommend to friends who wish to visit Jeju island. And it is Very great. very suitable for family with young children. Staff is excellent. 1) Must have more choices of food after 2pm. Only room service available after 2pm or at the poolside cafe. I mean tea time food choices from 2-6pm very limited. Must have more. Should have a coffee house or cafe open during this time. 2) must offer more non spicy food for children 3) duty free shopping hours too short. Should close at 9pm. 1- Expensive. 2- The 180 steps to go to the beach is not convenient. Personally it was a bit expensive, but we had such a great time that the money didn't matter to us. The English speaking guide-driver recommended by the hotel spoke very elementary English. He did not explain much on the five places we visited. It's expensive to pay KWon 150K for a 7hrs day trip!. Nothing. Though the fee is nominal but having to pay to use sauna and steam room is not acceptable as that's the minimum requirements for 5 star hotels. Food is very pricy, from afternoon tea to restaurants or BBQ. No activities on the beach - if that's why you're here for you will be disappointed - not sure if its because the weather is not hot enough. It's not really beach front. There's a short walk then stairs down to the beach area. There are some strange rules for swimming, like you can't swim without head cover. Booked a ocean view room but room was facing more to the pool.Was only able to see a small part of the ocean. Everithing was too expensive with clear aim to spend money. You have to pay for indoor pool!. Nothing. What I did not like is that I found difficulty finding a place to eat because I don't eat Korean or Japanese food . nothing. staff friendly, but their English and mandarin need to improve. The swimming pool is too small.
