Location is very great. The hotel is near many transportation, Keisei Line, Metro, JR so it is convenient to go to everywhere in Tokyo. We can find many restaurants around there with acceptable price and we can walk to shopping area such as Ameyoko market. The room is very comfortable even it is a bit small for three people (we have many luggages) but it is not our problem. Before we came, we were worried about smell because they do not have non-smoking room but we can't have a problem about an.
all reviews » Very good location which only 5min walking distance from Ueno train station. Take the right exit of the train station and across the road. The hotel is just located at the next street of Ameyoko shopping street where you could find variety of local food or products with reasonable price. The location is really good and convenient especially for family like us with young children and luggage. The Japanese style room is clean and comfortable. There is wifi available in the room too. I would love. This hotel is superbly located in the heart of Ueno's shopping district; we have access to great foods and shopping of local products easily. The onsen bath and sauna are great too!. This is my third time to stay this hotel. I like its location, service and price. The public bath is excellent. I will stay there again if I go to Tokyo. Location is perfect. Would be great if the windows can be open (slightly) for some ventilation as it is a smoking room. Nogood English speakers. We thought we had booked to return for a night on 27 Jan but despite a bald 40 or 50 year old man at the reception saying `sure no problem` and quoting us the extra cost, no booking was made. The room was stinky especially the bathroom. The hotel is old.
