  Lovely, elegant place with large rooms, comfortable beds and a view of Mount Fuji. It is located at the bus stop, with the bus going frequently to the cable car station and to Hakone.   Yumoto Fujiya Hotel wasn't super cheap, but very conveniently located, minutes from Hakone-Yumoto where you will have to change trains no matter what. It's a good place to arrive the previous night to have an easier start the next morning. The room, although not very cheap, was super spacious and comfortable. AC: worked great - Excellent location very close to the train station but very quite and relaxing. We were traveling around east Japan and this was the most expensive and poshest place we stayed but it was well worth it. Staff were great. It was clean, spacious and very comfortable. According to my companion the Onsen was perfect. I chose to get a shower with the dazzling array of toiletries provided. As well as an excellent base for exploring Hakone we took a day trip to Tokyo which took under 2 hours by train.

  The food and services is amazing! The manager is so professional and impressive! Cannot forget the fortune white and black cat named "Migi" raised by the hotel! - The staff were very warm and friendly. The room was big/clean and offers great view. The dinner was fantastic, so was the breakfast.

  The hotel staff was very accommodating when I let them know ahead of time that I could not eat seafood. They served up an amazing meal for us where my fiancé got their usual seafood dinner and I got some good substitutes, like fruit and tofu. It didn't hurt that we got served this in our hotel room. Also, When we checked out, we missed the shuttle bus, the staff actually get the driver to send us to the station without us asking.
