I chose the hotel because of the easy access to the airport, beaches, downtown, and restaurants. It was very convenient to do every thing even alone. I love this hotel very much. All staff were very friendly and their service was also nice. As this hotel is located in front of the "hip street" you'd better take earplugs if you want to get a good sleep. But it is a part of enjoyments in Jamaica. They have few rooms at the ocean side but it had an exquisite scenery. You can also enjoy the beauti.
all reviews » I like the look of the hotel was very nice and the location was great...it's located in the busiest street in montego BAY....my driver compared it to 42nd St in NY..it's located near 2 beaches walking distance and Drs beach is know to have healing powers...I Also liked that the price included breakfast. Location , friendly and helpful staff and excellent food. The location, quiet pool area, the view. Close to Doctor's Cave Beach which was lovely. Very close to shops and beaches. Room and bathroom were clean. The decor of the lobby and the outside area. Location. The magnet of the room key card was always trouble...... but it became so much fun. Enjoy the moment. The staff in restaurant was not very friendly...I Sat for a while before they took my order...they saw me but just let me sit there and there was no one else waiting...if you want good tips it has to be earned in my book...this includes customer service. Nothing. the traffic sounds, its not like in the states. For me traffic is white noise, but on the street in front of the hotel. Theres is music blaring, and non-stop honking. I felt terrible value for money. I had a "Superior" room that was supposed to have a dining area. The reality was a TINY cinderblock room with a small table and chair in the corner - and not a single window for natural light. Hotel staff very loud in the am if you are a late sleeper.Very small rooms and dark. Difficult to get luggage up the steps and the security guard took no initiative to help. Secondly, the noise from across the street made sleeping almost impossible. We were kept awake until 2.00am and had to be at airport at 7.00am. The reception Waited over 1.5 hours for my room and then it was not the room I had booked. Very small. Totally unimpressed with my check in. Reception were unenthusiastic. My room smelt damp and mouldy. I had to stand on the bed and reach up to adjust the fan. Should be controlled in an easier manner. To open the windows I had to stand on the bed and lean over. too much noise from traffic and there was a party down the street that went on for hours. Not a great location for sleep.
