Our hotel location was the perfect middle of Trapani, and only blocks off the Mediterranean. We walked every day to shops, cafes, delis, restaurants, even historic Old Town. The kitchenette in our suite saved our budget and helped us savor Sicilian foods without high costs. Both the day and evening receptionists were warm and inviting, and always ready with suggestions for our every question. The hotel and our room was always impeccably clean and secure. They treated us as if we were very impor.
all reviews » We liked everything about Fardella Centrale. The rooms are spotlessly clean and very modern with all facilities. Staff are friendly and helpful. The owner is always present to ensure a comfortable stay. Parking facility is a plus to travellers going by car. Situated right in the centre of Trapani it is easily accessible to shopping and sightseeing. We would definitely go there again and we would recommend Fardella Centrale 100%. You will not be disappointed! Thank you to all the staff and espec. Just got back from a 5 day trip to Trapani. Our stay at Fardella Centrale was great. The location of these apartments is the best we could have had. All buses stop in front of its door and one could easily get to the older part by foot. The apartments where just as described. Both Giovannas at the reception were very friendly and gave us all the information we needed to get to the places we wanted to visit. Will definitely visit Fardella Centrale again. our room was very clean new furniture and everyhing was perfect the street with every kind of shops and under hotel their was a big shop with cakes and pasta very nice shop.balcony facing the street...breakfast was very very good and he served us a good and fresh breakfast ...the two girls at the reception were very nice and helpfull .....i reccomend this hotel ...and i probably return again .... The location is absolutely fantastic, on the main road, 10 minutes away from the old part. There is a bus stop where the shuttle from and to the airport stops which is just near the front door. The confectionary below the residence is divine. Owner was incredibly gracious and helpful. One of our group became ill and Fabio was both kind and helpful. Giovanna, the staff person, was also knowledgeable and helpful and spoke English! Room lovely--both comfortable and attractive. Both ladies at reception were very friendly and helpful, they always gave us very good tips on the city and our trips. Another highlight was the cute balcony where you could have coffee in the morning. Loved my stay at Fardella Centrale. Location not far from train station and good choice of shops,bars cafeterias and restaurants. The bathroom and kitchen are a bot oldish in the way they look like but have all necessary equipment. Stuff in the hotel nice and helpful but onl;y one person speaking a good english. The deli downstairs is convenient with a good selection of local cuisine. They were very helpfull in the hotel Thanks to everybody there. we normaly take breakfast all together so we excpected to find tables with chairs .....breakfast is served in tortellino ....so he arranged for us. The room smelled of cigarettes when we went in, even if the rooms state that they are non smoking. Everything was great. Maybe kettle/tea/coffee/milk could be provided. Room for 4 could have been better equipped with another double-bed instead of sofa bed which was not so comportable. Location is nice for a city holiday, but to relax on a nice beach you have to travle around 30 to 40 km. Taking into account the italian public means of transport renting a car is a must!!. Nothing - it was a really super stay. The cafe noir,a bar downstairs,is open early till late,and the noise is disturbing if you are in one of the rooms facing the road. We missed a comfortable chair/sofa at the reception. Trapani is a bit too quiet in March. Breakfast can certainly improve but that's something which applies to all the hotels in Italy. Kitchenette NOT fully equipped as you describe e.g. no kettle or toaster. Also the proximity to the Old Town is exaggerated. It is a long dreary walk down a busy road taking at least 20mins brisk walk to the edge of the Old Town. May be its a good idea to include breakfasts aswell... Nothing. Nothing... Balcony was so small that we couldn´t use it. Much noise from the road. No free parking. Poor quality TV. The noise in the bedroom overlooking GB Fardella Str. is a bit too much. Luckily we were only two and slept in the back bedroom. Absence of toilette in communale areas (we had to wait for three hours before our room could be available). The location / area in the evening. Staff not there 24/7. The location is a bit far away from the historical city center .you have to take always a taxi .Taxis costs one way 20 euro to city center ,next time 10 euro ,next day 5 euro .!!!.
