Absolutely gorgeous hotel with a perfect location and extremely friendly stuff. We really enjoyed our stay, however it was a short one only and in November so the weather wasn´t perfect. The owner provided us with map and his phone number (avaliable 24/7) on it, I personaly had never experienced such a way of treating the customer. Highly recommended!.
The building-old,traditional,french windows overlooking the sea,spacious and charming apartment with lots of character,nice and helpful family/owners.Easy parking nearby,in the old town with all the heritage sites on the doorstep and the port for ferries to the beautiful islands a short walk away.all reviews »
Ideal location in the centre of old town, 2 minutes from the ferries and 2 minutes from the airport bus stop. Hotel is located in the old palace owned by sicilian noble family. Rooms are spacious, comfortables, there are also beautifully furnished sitting rooms where you can read or take a rest..
Second time to stay here. Perfect location, central and very friendly and helpful. Could not ask for a nicer host than Fredo.

A tiny lift is not suitable for buggies/pushchairs...Not that I minded it, but should be considered if travelling with kids.
We haven´t booked breakfast which bar next door provides, but there is a caffeterie/pastelaria right behind the corner (2mins) with very tasty typical local pastries for a great price.
Couldn't fault it from our point of view.We stayed here two days whilst travelling round Sicily and it suited our purpose perfectly.
There is the noise from the street during the night, you have to keep windows closed , but, of course, it is not the hotel fault!.
Noise from bars on saturday night (fixed with earplugs).
Difficult to find the place late evening.
