  It was centraly located but close to the sea with amazing views. The staff were very helpfull. Breakfast was delicious. Hotel and our bedroom were spotless. The staff were exceptional, especially Giovanni who collected our hire car on the morning we were leaving as the garage did not open until after we wanted to leave. We had a large room with a big bed, a sofa and armchairs, a bathroom with shower - and free wifi! The room overlooked the narrow shopping street. We had a small table and two chairs on the minute balcony where we could watch the world go by. The windows were well insulated as we weren't disturbed by noise.   This hotel is located about 15 minutes outside Soorento centre but the hotl bus runs frequently enough that there is no problems. The views from the hotel are pure bliss. Hotel was extremely clean and the rooms were comfortable and roomy. The hotel has the most spectacular view of Sorrento and the coast. The hotel provides easy axcess into Sorrento via a shuttle. We would recommend finding out the shuttle or bus schedule prior to arrival in Sorrento since the taxis to the hotel are pricey (Euro 50).

  Hotel Continental was beautiful! The lobby and public areas were first class and the room was beautiful as well. The bathroom was very big especially for European standards. They had a nightly turn-down service which was so nice and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The location could not be better. We actually walked from - Our room was lovely with the sea view balcony. And it was not just any sea view, it was the fantastic blue Mediterranean with Vesuvius. One could have gazed it 24/7! The staff was incredibly friendly everywhere: reception, restaurant, bar, the cleaning ladies. Always with a big smile and a friendly comment. The hotel itself is lovely with its feeling of the old days but updated for today. Its location could not have been better with a view to dream of and a short way to everywhere in Sorrent
