The two best things about this small hotel was the owner Ettore and the location. Ettore couldn't have been more helpful.I have never experienced any staff member at any place I have ever stayed who was more welcoming. Ettore was not intrusive but gave you all the information and advise about Sorrento and the surrounding area you could possibly need. We certainly didn't need to refer to any guide books while we were in his hotel. he was genuinly interested in how our day went and and did all he.

Ettore the manager of the B&B is a fantastic guy, he was so helpful and told me some really good tips on how to get the best from my stay in Sorrento. The location is brilliant you are right in the centre, yet on a night its so quiet and I slept really well. My room was clean, spacious, nicely decorated and had a decent sized bathroom. I would highly recommend this B&B and will defiantly be going back :). Excellent city centre location in the most picturesque pedestrianised street. The owner/manager, Ettore, was extremely helpful. He provided really useful local information and did everything posible to ensure that we had a comfortable and well-informed stay. We will definitely return to the Dolce Vita B&B. Windows were double glazed and air conditioning was quiet so we slept well at night. No breakfast provided as part of the room, but lots of lovely cafes and places nearby which Ettore recommended to us for breakfast and other meals. church bells early in morning. no lift.
