Beauftiful converted thirteen century Monastery with cloisters etc. Room was wonderful c/w a huge bathroom. Breakfast was set in what would have been the Refectory and was excellent. Set just inside the the city walls and within easy walking distance to everything. Building has great character and the breakfast was excellent (fruit, meats and cheeses, rolls, pastry, drinks made to order). Parking was convenient and worth the 15 euros to not have to hike into the city. We were even able to check in early.all reviews »
The friendly and helpful staff who gave us service way beond what we expected. The location and the private parkingspace within the walls of old town Siena. The beuatiful rooms with its calm and beauty gave a sence of the old Chiostro. We loved the hotel and the friendly staff. The breakfast was very nice,the room was wonderful and the courtyard area was such a nice place tosit. The hotel was charming! We've recommended the hotel to severalothers since our return.The staff were excellent, friendly and the hotel was in a superb location close to the centre of Siena. We suggest a few improvements to the room: new lighting (the one on thecorner of the room was uncapable of iluminating the room); a desk lampto the desk; shelves on the wardrobe. We would had apreciated if therewere fresh fruits for breakfast as well.No elevator, we had to carry up our luggage to the room 2nd floor. Room was very basic and small and more like a hostel than hotel. No lift, so had to carry suitcases up 4 flights of stairs. Breakfast was poor (food was not tasty or of good quality). Staff were not particularly bright or helpful - the reception desk was messy and staff did not appear for a few minutes after we arrived. Overall, disappointing and very poor value for money.

-After passing by the gate ZTL continue for another 200 metres. Then on your left side you will find our parking place; it will be closed by an electric red and white bar. It will be necessary to call the hotel to open it.
-You can also ride till the end of the street, then turn left (Via Bastianini n° 4) and walk to the hotel building in order to inform the staff about your arrival; they will be glad to open the car park for you.
