  Hotel Mimosa Chose because of price and proximity to Pantheon n lots of other attractions. Nervous when arrived - only a small placard on the wall of a side street cabbie located only by address. We stayed 3 nights and were given a very spacious room with the best views down the street. We enjoyed peaceful nights sleep and a very nice breakfast every morning with cheerful and friendly service. This felt like a home away from home.   The location was great. Right near the Monti neighborhood and close to the major sites (without being too close). There were some great restaurants (a Tre Scalini was fantastic) and shopping nearby and also a very local feeling. We enjoyed being pleasantly greeted every time we came back to our room. Wifi was very good, no problems. The room had many conven - I stayed in this hotel with my wife and two daughters for 4 days. The location is perfect for visiting the different sites in Rome. The Colosseum and other nearby attractions is just a 10 to 15 mins. walk from the hotel. Going to Vatican, bus stop for bus #40 is just around the corner. Trevi fountain is also just a 15 min walk from the hotel. The staff Catalina was very helpful. The room was so clean and made up everyday. Wifi is free and fast. Good restaurants are also aplenty in Via del Serpe

They are extrem - This place is right by the Termini train station making arriving to and from the airport super easy. It is also walkable to the Colosseum and Roman Forum. Close to the metro, this makes access to other parts of Rome easy as well. We were pleasantly surprised by the neighborhood as I am always somewhat concerned when I stay near a train station. However, this was not an issue as the neighborhood was fine and actually far less touristy than others in Rome. Room was clean and staff friendly,
