The staff were excellent, Mario arranged all of our trips and walks around the city which meant that we were able to enjoy our trip more without having to worry. Downstairs in the resturant, Constantinou was an excellent waiter, who was very friendly and always happy to help. In the evening, we had plenty of fun with Jess and Roberto. Rome was a beautiful place and with the help of these people it made it an extra special holiday with it being my partners 50th birthday. I would definitely stay.
all reviews » The hostel is located near the main train terminal and also close to most attractions. Staff was kind and helpful, specially Mario who created personalized itineraries for each day of our stay and gave great tips. We stayed in a private room, it was comfortable and it had a big enough bathroom. Value for this room was OK since something similar would have been more expensive in any other hotel this close to the city center. This hostel is strategically positioned next to Termini station and the subway station by the same name. You also have access to all sorts of buses and airport transportation options. It isn't close to the main attractions, but 3 euros later and you have a round trip ticket on the subway, which is a steal. The staff is helpful and friendly. The restaurant downstairs is a good value. First off, it was very American/ Traveler friendly. They have an excellent staff, that is very kind and helpful. Any place that could have the same workers would automatically be 10x better! The location is great, very cheap, and the breakfast that they setup with the next door bar/cafe is also extremely cheap compared to the rest of Rome. I would definitely return here. It was a pleasure to stay in this hostel. The staff was nice and friendly and they helped you were they can. Location is just a 5min walk from the station and not hard to find. Breakfast is absolutly his €4 worth, It's a breakfast-buffet were you can take as much as you can and you have a lot of choices. The location is very good. It only takes about 5 minutes to go from Roma Termini to the hotel. The decorations in the room is also modern and comfortable. There is a computer in the room, accessible to internet. Staffs are friendly. The staff are so friendly &very helpfull. The location is great. Never have problem with hot water. Tho some of the beds are covered in plastic & make noises. The hotle locates very near to the train station and is convenience to do every thing, The staff there kowns everything and very friendly. everything was as expected, a clean room with a good location and easy access to the historical city center. Nice buffet breakfast in restaurant downfloor for 4 euro. There is free parking on the corner but it's not safe. Private parking is in front of hotel and costs 23 euro per day. The clerks are friendly and really helpful. When I arrived, they were helping two customers contact the police for some problem (robbery or pocket picker I guess). They also gave peoples some useful information about travelling in Rome.What's more, the room keeper was really kind, and make your room/beds/wash and shower room really neat. There is a bar downstairs so it was a bit noisy in the evenings. Internet access is limited to the common room and slow. I would appreciate a free towel rental and return policy where they could hold your passport or something of a higher value. 2 euros for the use of towel was weird to me. The mattress cover is plastic, maybe the hotel hopes it can be easier to be cleaned, but it is uncomfortable when sleep on it. Wifi is only available in public area, but we can surf on the internet by using the desktop computer in the room. It only accepts cash rather than any kind of credit card. Some noisy bed. But hey! You can't expect much for €20 a night right? There are people & bills need to be paid ;). Tapestry in the bathroom has mold on it. Not that bad as tapestry is only on the upper part of the walls & shower is cleaned every day. no elevators , but the stuffs are very helpful , they helped me to transfer all my luggage. You can just use wifi at common room and the bed is not strong enough. nothing. The price is a little bit high, and need to pay for the city tax as well. I don't like the location in the map on bookong.com. It's not clear enough. And please!!! Can you put a largest announcement of the hotel at the door??? We couldn't see it and walked and walked and we had to returned........ No elevator. Wi-fi works near reception and only in some rooms. Very shattered doors so you can hear any noise (any!). Bed are totally uncomfortable. The elevator is only like a decoration, which means that you have to move your luggage up to forth or fifth floor. And there is no microwave in the kitchen, so people can only use hot water to cook the frozen food from supermarket. Though hostel had informed you wifi is only available in the reception (and a living-room-size public area), it's quite inconvenient for people failing to connect the internet in their rooms. Three is no elevator for this place, it was very incontinent for older folks to carry luggage to the room. Horrible bed, horrible shower, smell of gas inside the room (dangerous), Much noise, the room is not clean. When guests use their own towels, there is no way to hang up. Free self-service luggage storage is mess and very difficult to pick up the luggage. The stairs... Some staff were rude, but others were alright- depends on your luck. Need better cleaners Did't show the bathrooms on their photos for a reason. Shabby. Up 2 flights of stairs to reception, not great for someone with knee problems. I wouldn't have booked if it was known that you can't use the lift! The fixtures all need to be repaired & we weren't impressed with the red wall behind the bed. The water pressure is very poor & the shower head in the room needs replacing. Yes it is a hostel, but it has a feeling of lack of care to the building. The showers and the bathroom was one of the dirtiest experiences I have ever had at a hostel . And I have been to alot of hostels. Firstly, two day before check-in i paid with my credit card, consequently i received sms conformation about this transaction. Then after I showed them this sms that i have already paid and refused to pay in cash at the reception again, they took the same amount of money second time from the same card. It was over priced and didn't even come with breakfast. This hostel is worth avoiding at all costs!.
