The hotel was located in a short distance from the Roma Termini station.
The old guy in the reception was very friendly and helpful. He was
available when we checked in at 9Pm and was also there to collect the
keys and wave us bye when we checked out at 3:30 Am to go to the
airport. The room and bathroom was very clean and well maintained. The
wifi was working superfast and the ac was a great comfort for the
otherwise superhot Rome weather. There were noises from the street and
of bells ringing. all reviews »
Location, it's great especially if one travels by train. Roma termini train station is less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel is also easy to find. In addition, you can walk to main sightseeing sites.
The hotel is very clean and the staff are very welcoming and are willing to accommodate your needs. The room we got was pretty spacious, which is nice especially if you have a lot of luggage.
I travel to Rome often & usually avoid train station, but not anymore. Hotel was great- a bargain. Safe & lively location, great shopping just 5 min walk away, including a supermarket. Super friendly & helpful staff, squeaky clean, fast wifi in room, quiet split air conditioner too. Easy 5 min walk to train station, soooo convenient for an early morning flight.
Great location- we walked around the city to all the attractions. good area for eating out too- the restaurant directly below the hotel is nice and very cheap. wonderful staff, they were always friendly and ready to help at all times. Fantastic stay really recommended.
Very close to train station for easy city access. Area was not bad- felt comfortable at night. Hotel was clean and fully furnished- Staff was very friendly and welcoming at all hours. Can't comment on heat/air conditioning since I didn't need either.

We liked the close proximity to every tourist site in Rome, because it is in the center and close to the Termini. It is close to many restaurants, as well.

Just the noise coming from cars and people because the window overlooks the street, but that was not a big deal.
Walls a tiny bit thin if you are a light sleeper (might be because we were right next to reception).
Room was on busy street so had a good amount of noise. Not an issue for me since I always have earplugs for city travel.

It was very noisy for sleeping, but after the first night and using ear plugs, we got used to it. The benefit of being in the center outweighed the noise. A small breakfast included would be nice. Luckily, McDonald's was not far to walk.

The hotel owner did not want to provide hot water to their customer upon request, although clearly he has a kitchen facility in the hotel! I found this ridiculous and it was my major disatisfaction during the entire stay! Avoid Almafoto SNC restaurant altogether on via Principe Amedeo, not far away from the hotel as they are there to rip off the tourists!!! Bewary when you eat out in Rome - they are infamous for overcharging the overseas visitors!!!.
