If you are looking for a great location, friendly, and budget-wised accommodation, it is the perfect place for you ! You can walk to all the major attractions. Lucia the owner and manger was always nice, welcome, and speaks good English. There are two great small restaurants owned by the hotel just across the street where you can eat lunch and dinner. I will stay again in this hotel in my next visit to Rome.
all reviews » fantastic location a couple of nice local restaurants, excellent value for money, friendly staff and a real treat. Its an old building and has loads of character. Don't expect 5 star luxury but this is perfect for a short break. Check out the local entertainment at the wood shop next door. Staff was excellent! Very helpful. Based in a heart of Rome , 10 minutes walk to Colloseum. Great friendly restaurant in in front of apartments. Friendly owner and staff , felt like visiting my auntie abroad. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and at my arrival, provided me a room on the ground floor, rather than the 4th floor, to accommodate a temporary disability. Great location in a quiet street with a couple of excellent trattorias literally seconds from the door of the apartment building. Helpful pleasant staff. Everything was perfect. For the price and the location, I can't complain about anything. No lift and the room was up 4 flights of stairs. Our room was situated on 4th (in fact it is more fair to call it 7th floor) without elevator. I am fan of climbing atop of various ladders with enormous amount of steps, but my wife isn't. did not change towels every day. shower was very small - hair got wet no matter what. Hard to find the staff at the reception, we booked a transfer but nobody met us at the airport on time ( the driver was late). When we called the number listed in the booking confirmation nobody answered the phone ( we called three times with the intervals). 90 steps to the room.
