Comics Guesthouse is a truly unique property 50 metres from Lepanto Metro Station. Each room is themed after a comic book character and there is a Wii, PlayStation and arcade games in the lounge. Rooms are bright and colourful with all your favourite cartoons such as Super Mario Brothers and Betty Boop. Each one has an LCD TV and a private bathroom. Free Wi-Fi and a free city map are included. Guesthouse Comics also provides bed linen and towels. Drinks and snacks are available from the vending machines. Metro Line A and a number of buses stop just 50 metres away. The property is in the pleasant neighbourhood of Prati, full of shops, restaurants and cafés. You are just a 10-minute walk across the river from Piazza del Popolo.

I stayed in the Super Mario room.. which has a lil balcony and a view of the streets.I loved the guesthouse as It was very clean and you get your sheets folded daily.... (even after I fold it) ... It was peaceful and luckily the roommates that I have were respectful.. As a matter of fact, I made friends with one of my roommates. I loved the location- very nearby the metro...most importantly - very near the Vatican City. I would stay there again when I go back to Rome!.
all reviews » The hostal was hard to find at first but when I got there and knew the city a bit more I realized it was a very good location. The concept of the hostal is great if you like movies and comics, free coffee, nice people. Stephano is really helpful when it comes to make your trip more confortable, I asked him if he offered laundry services and the price was fair compared to other places. Bathrooms very clean and fresh towels and sheets when you needed them. Comics Guesthouse is awesome! The staff are really nice & helpful, and it's a really friendly and comfortable place to stay. I stayed in a 6 bed dorm, it was really big and clean, with a big ensuite bathroom and everything was Mario Kart themed which was very cool!! The guesthouse is very close to the Lepanto metro station, about a 1 minute walk away. Wifi worked well & there are lockers in the dorm room to store valuables in. I loved the theme of this place. The coolest hostel I've stayed in Europe by far! I loved the staff. Daniele and Stefano are incredibly nice. The rooms are always cleaned and they're definitely more than enough for a budget stay. The metro stop is a short 2 minute walk. I would most certainly stay here again and again and again. The price is not bad for Rome either. First of all, I have to say many thanks to Daniele-the owner of this hostel who was patiently waiting for us on the street in night after their working time. He is a very nice guy!! Every corner in this hostel is so cute. In addition, it is very close to the metro station (only 3 mins by walk). Very tidy and clean, offers all kinds of facilities except for meal(hair dryer, towels included) So nice design and interior, offers games and comic books Good location to visit Vatican, even Roma is not that far away! Good size room with all comforts (good bed,shower and tv). Tea and coffee making facilities available in shared lounge space. Friendly and Helpful guy working there. An easy minute or two walk to Lepanto metro station. Staff very friendly and very helpful. The rooms were gorgeous and all had air conditioning! Loved how the communal area had a tv so we could watch movies like gladiator before going to the colloseum. Also has a fridge and free coffee and tea. Clean rooms with interesting themes, good location - quite near to metro station but also not too far to walk to either vatican city or city center, free wi fi connection, nice staff, free tea, coffee, and croisants. I really liked personnel here, they are so kind and friendly and so patient to guests at the hostel. the atmosphere is very cool, i felt comfortable and safe here. I love the disign of hostel - very cool!. Different rooms have different comic themes. The bathroom is big and clean. The location is also good but hope to be easier to find. The owner is very kind and friendly. It's a nice trip!. The theme of this hostel is AWESOME! The facilities are great too. The metro and bus stations are pretty close to the hostel, quite convenient. And the staffs are hospitable and patient. Amazing... the thematic hostel is just great. Very clean. Very quiet with a good entertainemnt room. It's also not big... which is good for me at least as it makes it cozier. I was just lucky to find the guesthouse immediately but for my roommate she had difficulty finding it. Maybe because the sign was just not big enough for you to see it. It would be a great help to make a big sign of the guesthouse especially when you're arriving at night. I don't know! Maybe beds could be a little bit better?. The area that the guesthouse is in is very quiet, there are no restaurants or shops around, but the busy areas of Rome are only a few Metro stops away :). I wish this place had a 24-hour reception. Sometimes, the wifi is weak and slow. not located in central station(Termini). But it doesn't matter seriously. It's near Vatican and much safer than Termini. Assigned a room only with Chinese people, I'm not Chinese at all!!! Staffs are not working 24 hours. So far, nothing. The phone rang very late to an unattended desk one night and could be heard from the room-a tad annoying. Notuing really was a wonderful stay. Nothing. i didn't find the hostel, i'm not so attentive and didn't notice the signature on the wall. i searched it during 2 and a half hours under rain. A woman in this building who works in a cafe she didn't know the address and showed me the wrong way to the opposite side of the street. So i advice to be attentive :) in general - the location is very suitable to walk to Vatican and city center =). Sometimes there is no hot water in the tap, even though i let the water keeping flowing about 10 mintues. i had to take a cold water for shower once, the cold water was extremely cold, even in the hot summer season. And the rest of customers were snoring at night, i couldnt fall a sleep. but its inevitable when u choose staying a hostel. Why don't you have windows shutters. The curtain doesn't actually block any sun... No breakfast. Nothing. The room I stayed faced the street and was somehow noisy during the night. Not enough electric outlet in the room. Small lockers. bed not so comfortable. Wifi signal needs improvement but still acceptable. None. No wifi n room but didnt bother me that much as worked n common room. wifi..... They only have mix room. problems with hot watter. The sketchy looking abandon entrance way to the hostel and the bathroom layout as our toilet was jammed up against a wall and our bathroom at times smelt almost mouldy. The wifi not work proplelly for three days without Any solution from staff.
