  We thought the staff were courteous and helpful. The setting of the hotel, slightly out of the centre of Rome, but close to the Metro was perfect. It provided a peaceful and enjoyable setting for the holiday. The breakfasts were wonderful, as was eating them in the garden each morning. - The staff was very helpful and curtious.   Truly lovely hotel; staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. Unusually, for a Roman hotel, it was set in an oasis of calm, withdrawn from the bustle of the city but yet readily accessible. I have been to Rome many times but this is the only hotel to which I would love to return. - We stayed in room 820, very nice room with balcony. Exce... what people say » llent value for money. Staff were very helpful, explained what bus routes to take were to get off and the which bus stop to use near hotel. Very Romantic Hotel and aventine area very safe.

  Location - the hotel is across the road from the Palatine Hill (however entrance is on the other side) - we had a great room view of it and it certainly gave you a sense of the history unique to Rome. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were a great size and very comfortable (beds we hard if you like that). - We checked in early (... what people say » 1100) and the staff was very accomodating. Room was good size and very clean. Great room rate in January. Staff was friendly, helpful, and professional. Our initial room was a bit noisy from traffic but they moved us with no problem. Breakfast was exceptional, varied menu selection. Highly recommended!
