  I thought this was a great hotel. The room and bathroom were lovely, especially the bathroom where the modern fixtures were super and the capacious shower a real treat.   We lucked out and paid a great low season rate for essentially their penthouse room -- which was mod, spacious, and loft-like. I'm not sure what this room goes for in summer, but we felt like we had every luxury for a bargain price. No breakfast on site when we were there, but they gave us vouchers to some great local caffes and pasticcerie. And... what people say » the location and views were great, too. - There was no breakfast inside of the hotel but they gave us a voucher and we could eat and drink whatever we wanted at the local bar in front of the hotel. The quality was excellent. Our room was very stylish and big bathroom. You won't believe that there were real flowers in a vase in the room!!!

  Villa Del Lauro is an absolute oasis and well worth staying at if you're visiting Ragusa. We stayed for a few nights in July and practically had the place and the lovely garden to ourselves.   The location of the Hotel was great - just 15min walk to Ibla and in the center of all other attractions of Ragusa, opposite to the cathedral. The Hotel it self is in one of the old palaces. The hotel was a antique house of upscale family from old times turned into a hotel. It is very charming and you can walk around the hotel and imagine how life used to be in the past in that house.
