  Although I am Dutch, and I never write recommendations, I really like to write this recommendation in English because everybody has to know the following about La Pieve Di Sant'Andrea and it owners: This B&B has most exceeded our (me and my girlfriend) expectations so far. Friendly owners even lent us a sun umbrella for the beach at Forte Dei Marmi. Great place to relax. Wonderful breakfast with different home made items each day and we were given foil and plastic bags to take the surplus for lunch. Also plenty of free bottles of water.   Facility and host were exceptionally delightful. Located off the beaten track so if looking for night life may not want to stay here. We arrived late and had not eaten dinner, but host put together some food for us to eat. Seemed like outdoor activities such as hiking would be good. Even the neighbors in this small town were helpf - Clean, nice hotel, which is a very nice and classic Italian country house with perfect view, right under a castle, in a typically italien village. The owner, the host was very very friendly and helped us immediately if we had a question, gave good advices what should we visit. You can reach easy Lucca, Pisa, Florence, with a stack of "must see" attraction. In the other way You can find beatufil nature, with mountains, small roads.
