  The hotel is perfect visiting the temples, and the family room accomodated our family very comfortably. The staff of the hotel is amazing - transferred us to and from the train station in a private vehicle to facilitate a tight schedule, and the restaurant affiliated with the hotel opened 1/2 hour early to accomodate our young son. Highly recommen... what people say » ded! - All the staff were extremely helpful and treated me like a king. The language barrier was of no consequence and the owner is a lovely man. My room was perfect and exactly what i asked for and more. The breakfast was amazing and had all that was needed for a big day ahead. Grazie Mille Il Granaio dei Casabella. I will be back.

  The staff were fantastic guys who were always making sure we were happy! The food they prepare there is amazing & local. Dinner is a great value & includes drinks as well. We were served the best wine we've had in Italy! We like it so much we Wanted to buy a boytle & they gave us one as a gift. Our room was very clean & comfortable... what people say » - no a/c but had a big ceiling fan! It's also right next to the ruins. - What a fantastic place to stay! From the moment Mimo picked us up at the train station to the moment we left, we had an amazing experience. We were treated like family, including an outstanding dinner cooked just for us--with the freshest, most delicious ingredients. It's just steps from the ruins, the perfect location. We were extremely sad to leave. It was our favorite place in Italy.

This hotel is located very conveniently to the Greek archeological ruins at Paestum. 'A pleasant ten minute (or less) walk. The grounds are lovely. We traveled here by local bus from Salerno. The bus driver agreed... what people say » to drop us as close as his route would take us...but he didn't know the exact location. He and other passengers figured it out. If you're arriving by - Lovely hotel with a comfortable family room. The pool was enjoyed after a hot day exploring. The staff was very helpful and even found a ball so my sons could play soccer in the soccer field. The free bikes were a nice touch and allowed us to have an early morning ride past the beautiful ruins right next door as well as the buffalo farm. We enjoyed dinner in the hotel as well. The breakfast in the morning had a good variety so everyone was happy (I particularly enjoyed the buffalo milk yogurt).

  The Poseidonia Mare has got to be one of the best kept secrets in all of Italy! It seems as though everytime I write reviews about the places I have stayed, everyone catches on and then when i want to go again, it's filled up! This hotel is operated by 2 brothers names Nino and Alessandro De Santi. The sister Sofia is probably one of the best cooks in all - We stayed at this hotel in mid September and at the end of the season so it was quite quiet. The room was superb with a balcony and a glimpse of the sea. The hotel itself showed attention to detail in every way. The breakfasts and evening meals were excellent and the staff could not have been more helpful.
