  This hotel was conveniently located to the train station. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly, the room was rather large compared to any of our other Italian hotels and the bathroom was huge for Italian standards. The restaurant was decorated in Ferrari memorabilia and we were right at home. Breakfast was generous, and the location of the hotel was excellent - central to the city centre. Parking was undercover and we were able to leave the car in secure parking after we checked out for a few extra hours, which was really helpful. The room was clean and well decorated.

  We travelled around Emilia-Romagna during our Easter holidays and the first stop was in Modena. We had a family room at the hotel and it includes 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The unusual thing is that the bedrooms have sinks but it was convenient. It was one of the biggest rooms in the hotel and is perfectly fine for 5+ people to sleep. This family run hotel is a joy to stay in with the Old Town just a five minute walk away. I keep seeing other reviewers moaning about lack of variety for breakfast in these budget priced hotels but, for goodness sake, a good supply of coffee, toast, spreads, juices and yoghurt is quite enough and that's what you get here plus the pleasant conversation with the hard-working proprietor.
